Best Stroller for WDW?

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I am trying to figure out the best stroller to get for our upcoming trip.

Last time we had the City Mini - it's a good stroller but we had a defective front wheel that was locking on it's own so every few steps we had to stop and unlock it to be able to turn.
It was also really heavy and hard to get on and off the buses, otherwise I would just get one.

I bought a First Years ignite that I thought would work well. We took it for a test drive in the zoo and it failed on all fronts. It was so light it kept tipping over backwards, the storage basket is roomy, but rendered useless by the cross-frame blocking access to it. :

Here is what I am looking for:
- well functioning stroller that is easy to push.
- light enough to haul onto buses but sturdy enough to hold a small diaper bag and not tip over.
- a decent amount of storage
- leg room for my exceptionally tall DD

I feel the city mini is the best WDW stroller. I have been to WDW with many different strollers and find the mini is the easiest/quickest to fold by a long shot. Also, it doesn't weigh that much for a fully functioning stroller. If you want something super lightweight you will give up the amenities of the full size. I also love that it reclines very easily with one hand when your little one dozes off. Sorry if that isn't much help, but that's my experience.

I feel the city mini is the best WDW stroller. I have been to WDW with many different strollers and find the mini is the easiest/quickest to fold by a long shot. Also, it doesn't weigh that much for a fully functioning stroller. If you want something super lightweight you will give up the amenities of the full size. I agree...I'm also sorry if that doesn't help you at all, but we loved the City Mini we rented last month. I'm 5'3" and don't have a heck of a lot of arm strength, but I managed the City Mini fairly well on and off buses when I needed to. The push/storage/recline/sun shade were way more important than the comparatively few mins I had to deal with it on a bus.

I'm 5'3" and don't have a heck of a lot of arm strength, but I managed the City Mini fairly well on and off buses when I needed to. The push/storage/recline/sun shade were way more important than the comparatively few mins I had to deal with it on a bus.

You are probably right. It just is terrible to have to pay that much for a stroller, get a malfunctioning one and instead of being able to fix it having to buy another.

We have a City Mini as our personal use stroller, and brought it to Disney this time. We also have an Uppababy Gluxe.
It was a hard decision determining which one to bring, because we love both.

Honestly, the City Mini made the cut, because we have more of the accessories for it (child tray, adult tray, rain cover etc) and it has a larger canopy.

The G-luxe is great though, and if I had been traveling without 2 other adults to the one child, I probably would have gone with it. It's only 11 lbs, fully reclines, and can stand up when folded. 2 hand fold, but I can do it while holding DS - albeit a little awkwardly. It also has a carry strap.
It can hold some stuff on the handle bars without a child in it, but I don't know of many lightweight strollers that won't fall over with too much stuff hanging (even the city mini does)
I used to take it grocery shopping with me when I lived in South Korea and could load a 3/4 gallon jug of milk in the basket along with some other things, and hang several bags on the handles with my 30 lb DS riding in it, and it was still easy to push.
I don't know about the leg room. DS is only 37 inches tall. I have noticed that the footrest is a little awkwardly positioned.

Thank you, I will check out the G-luxe. I am trying one more time to get a repair or part from Baby Jogger as well. I did love the stroller but am now so frustrated with them that it changes how I feel.

We thought we would be able to use our umbrella stroller, but after the first day we rented a city mini double. We have four kids, and the city mini double was a godsend for the rest of the trip. My, then, 7 year old even took naps in it.

Where did you rent your city mini from? We used Kingdom strollers. Even the last minute stroller offerings were wonderful and worked great.

For our trip we are renting a City Mini double. You can't beat it for ease of folding and how light weight it is for what the stroller features are.

You must have gotten a real dud because the city mini single is one of the lightest in its class and with the one hand folding mechanism it is the perfect disney stroller for buses etc.

The City mini double is only 26lbs and if I'm not mistaken the city mini single is about 18lbs maybe even less then that. Aside from a cheapie walmart umbrella you can't get any lighter/easier.

If you are looking for something like the city mini- but without the wheel problem (which is pretty common with that stroller BTW)- check out the Britax B-agile.

It has some great features not seen on the city mini, like a floating rear axle (so you won't kick the back of the stroller when you push it) and it locks when it folds so it won't just open up on you if you loose your grip on it on a bus.

I also have to second the PP recommendation of the g-luxe. I am pretty much uppa baby's biggest cheerleader, and I LOVE the g-luxe for Disney. The only thing is that it is super lightweight, so it will tip if you have a heavy bag hung on the back.

It is really tough to find a lightweight stroller that won't tip if you hang a bag on the back, in fact, I can't think of one off the top of my head. The lighter the stroller, the less heft it has, therefore the more likely to tip.

We used our city mini in February during Princess half-marathon weekend. It was great: turns on a dime and folds up so easy.

If you rented one that had a bum wheel, you should call and have them bring another one out.

Thanks! Definitely going to check these two out. Hearing that the wheel problem is common really doesn't make it any more attractive to spend the money on another one.
