Oh the places We Go, The People We see

After a while it appeared that Claire was coming down. I think this is her splash.



One by one they all came down. Katie tried to stay near the slide to catch Jude but the life guard yelled at her and wouldn’t let her. Jude came flying down and got quite a bit of water up his nose. I don’t think he cared for it so much then.

I think some of them made the decision to go a 2nd time around.




We then decided it as getting time to head back to the ship. We still had time, but we all needed to get showered for early dinner.



We rinsed off, returned the tubes and then of course we couldn’t leave without a bit of shopping.







I don’t think anything was bought. Well Alexis might have, but I am pretty sure we didn’t buy anything.
We then made our way back to the ship. Geoff and I took several pictures along the way and I’ll post some from both of us. I am thinking that Geoff walked and we took the tram.

I wish I could take credit for the next couple, but Geoff took them.

I will admit we weren’t rushing back to the ship. The island was so beautiful and we soaked up the views.











But all good things must come to an end so we headed back to the ship.





We got showered and ready for the night. It was Pirate night, so more fun to come. We did take a look out on the verandah to get a few last pictures and watch us sail away.

Here are a few of Geoff’s pictures. There are still people on the island in them, so it was close to the end of the day.





















It was finally time to set sail. We watched as we pulled out. Last time the Captain played all the different horns as we left, this time he only played the one. I did get it on video, but it’s so bad that when I watched it I felt REALLY sick and the wind was loud and you can barely hear it anyways.

LOL. I really didn't do a big hurrah at counting down myself. It's gonna be fun, but not the same as Disney.
I am slowly but surely getting everything squared away.

I just want to remind everyone that I'll be gone for the next week. I won't be back home till NEXT Sunday. I'll try to check in if I can, but it might not be too often. Depending on internet there.

When I get back, I'l lstart back on this TR and we'll be going into Pirate Night and the surprise we had that night! ooooh cliffhanger......

Jen, some of those picture are truly wonderful! And I like the footprint one...looks like a postcard.

I wonder if I can get my two kids to walk side by side and do the same thing on our August 2014 trip? I think that would be a great picture for our wall...their footprints on Castaway Cay.

I loved the shell photo and the footprint photo, but they are all wonderful. I am sure you mentioned it before, but what camera are you using? I am considering branching out to DSLR. Nice cliffhanger. Have a wonderful trip.

Parasailing looks like so much fun there.
At least she got to learn to snorkel. Too bad about it not being great.
The jet ski sounds like fun. Glad Claire enjoyed it.
Loved all the pics of the island as you walked around.
I would also stroll along and take in the views.

Hi there! I just found your TR a few days ago an have been plowing my way through. I finally just caught up! I haven't been reading all of your updates in between trip posts, but I see that you are going to be in Williamsburg this week. I hope you have fun!

I have been on a bunch of cruises, but never Disney. I have been reading the Disney Cruiseline trip reports trying to get a grasp on how different they are from another cruise line. I appreciate all of your pictures!
