Is the option of a rollaway cot available at all Disney Resorts? I keep seeing it mentioned at places like Beach Club, but is it available at say, the Wilderness Lodge, or Poly?

Not at any DVC resorts and not to exceed occupancy.

They offer them at the BC/YC because the number ppl in some categories is up to 5 but not all the rooms have a daybed. So if you have a reservation for 5 ppl and room does not have the daybed they give you a roll away free of charge.

They do not offer them at the mods. Anymore they only moderate that you can stay with 5 ppl is POR and you will be placed in alligator bayou with the trundle bed.

At Wilderness Lodge the desk CM was telling me they have air mattresses. I mentioned using one so my children don't have to share a bed, he mentioned they had them for use so I didn't need to pack one. I had never heard that anywhere else. Hope that helps.

I *think* all resorts have some rollaways (except DVCs) but there is a limited supply and no guarantee that you can get one. Once we reserved a room at BWI for 5 and were assigned a BWV studio for 4 and given an aerobed but that was a resort overbooked situation, we would not have been given an aerobed if we had 4 and 2 didn't want to share a bed.

We've gotten rollaways to not share beds at POR and POFQ when we had 4 in the room, but the last time was in 2007. We started bringing an aerobed as we needed it for my DD's BF and I wasn't taking a chance that a rollaway wouldn't be available.

Thank you all for your answers/input. My party is only 3 - my 14 year old son, my mother and myself. None of us want to share a bed with each other. We usually bring an aero bed for my son to use, but had been thinking maybe I could save some room when driving if I could just get the roll away down at the hotel.

The moderates have been eliminating them when they went over to queens, except CBR, which still has doubles.

Wondering if there are cots at AOA and if so do they fit in the LM rooms? We are trying to decide whether we will stay at AOA resort in the LM rooms but not sure the cot would fit or even if they have any! :confused3

No. You could bring an air mattress, but you need to make sure you do not exceed room occupancy.

we are a family of five...three teens. We have two rooms at the ASMU but the teens don't want to share and my hubby and I are so tall that we each want our own bed too...lol...my two teen daughters would be the ones stuck in one bed, but my youngest has medical issues and my other daughter doesn't want to share with her. Is there a charge for a rollaway? do they make medical exceptions if there is a cost? We are flying and I think an aerobed will be heavy in a suitcase....any suggestions?

Even Coronado? We were there with 3 in our room. They have queens and we still got a rollaway for our son. Are you sure they are no longer available? That was our big reason to choose Coronado.

I phoned Coronado to be sure since we are hoping to book it again soon. They still have rollaways. I'm so glad. We all three want our own beds.

I believe CSR is the only one; the rooms lend themselves better.

FYI, you never reach the resort directly, you were connected to a Central Call Center that answers like they are in the resort.
