PTR Plans for Friday, June 21, 2013

Surprise! Breakfast in the villa again! Ha-ha!

This day will be Hollywood Studios Rope Drop Day!


We plan to get there early enough to ride Toy Story Mania.
Toy Story is a must do for our family.
Competition is brewing, who can score more points?!?

Our Plans for the day:

#1 - Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage - we really enjoy this performance. It is a classic to us.

#2 - Tower of Terror for Shawn and Allison. - So Aaron will not go on Tower of Terror. Shawn really enjoys this ride and Allison likes thrill rides. She has agreed to try ToT with her dad.

#3 The Great Movie Ride - OMG! Love this ride. I know it is cheesy and out of date but it is so much fun and I love it.

#4 Muppets 3D - Love my Muppets!

#5 The Legend of Jack Sparrow - Of course, this will be new for us. But we have to check it out and form our opinon!

#6 The Magic of Disney Animation - So much fun!

#7 Star Tours - I can't ride Star Tours, I have motion sickness issues. This will be Shawn, Aaron, and Allison. I will be shopping or snacking!

#8 Voyage of the Little Mermaid - Love this show, I must see it!

#9 Walt Disney One Mans Dream - I must confess we have never had time for this show. This trip it is a must try!

Character Meet and Greets - I expect long lines at some charcter meet and greets. I have scheduled 2 days at DHS for this reason. This trip is character fun, fun for us!

#1 Meet Buzz and Woody

#2 Meet Mike and Sully

#3 Meet Phineas and Ferb

#4 Meet Ralph and Vanellope

#5 Meet the Stars of Cars

#6 and any other character we can find in the Magic of Disney Animation!

Last but no least watch Mulch, Sweat, & Shears! Shawn loves this! We have seen it almost every trip to DHS. I could do without it!

We also enjoy watching the Citizens of Hollywood, so very funny for us.

Lunch will be Backlot Express - We really enjoy Backlot Express, indoor seating to get out of the heat, self serve drink refills, average CS food. It is our place to be.

Dinner - Raglan Road

After Dinner, we have to pack up our villa at the Beach Club because tomorrow we are moving to Bay Lake Tower. I think I will take the kids swimming after we are all packed! Tomorrow is a rest day with a park at night again.

We are not sure if we will be able to accomplish our list but we have another day scheduled at Hollywood Studios. So it is ok!

Thanks for reading along. We love Kidani. It is so beautiful and peaceful to us. I will head over to your PTR and read along. I haven't had as much time as I would like to read other PTRs and TRs but I am trying. You will be there the exact same time as our second half of the trip.

I am looking forward to sharing more with you and I can't wait to read more of your plans

Pre-Trip Report Plans – Saturday, June 22, 2013


Today is a big day for our family!


We are returning to one of our favorite resorts Bay Lake Tower and The Contemporary Resort!

We should already be packed from the night before.

So the moving plans, load up the van, and head to Bay Lake Tower.

Check-In

I do not anticipate our villa being ready but I want our room key, so that we can access the pools.

We have a late morning breakfast at Chef Mickey’s scheduled that we are looking for to.
We have not been to Chef Mickey’s since 2006; our experience was pleasant and fun. We enjoy character breakfasts, the loud atmosphere, character antics, children everywhere, watching families enjoy their time with the characters. In our opinion, it is one of the spectacular moments that make our stay memorable.


After breakfast:

The boys are going to Disney Quest at Downtown Disney and/or swimming.
I am not sure what their lunch plans are but I know it will involve a quick service location.


The girls are headed to pool hop. Since, we are Disney Vacation Club members we are allowed to pool hop. During our stay there are zero blackout dates. There are restrictions where we can pool hop and it depends on capacity of the pool. We have plans to pool hop to the volcano pool at the Polynesian and to the beach side pool at the Grand Floridian. I love both resorts and I am looking forward to spending some time pool side with my little girl.

We also have a Tea for 2 planned for the Garden View Tea Room at 3pm.

Our love of the tea began when I took DD to the My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party in 2008. It is an expensive experience but it was worth every penny. We wanted to experience the tea again, so our next trip we made an ADR for the Garden View Tea Room. It is now a mother/daughter tradition.

This will be a perfect girls' day out for us.

We do not have dinner plans for this night.

We do not know if we will even head to a park.

This is a rest and fun day for us!

I can't wait for this day. It will be so much fun!

Pre-Trip Report Plans for Sunday, June 23, 2013

We are headed to the Magic Kingdom this fine morning. There is a wonderful walk-way close by tget us there quickly.

The one plan is to catch the Morning Show at the Magic Kingdom!

If you have been following along, this is my back up day for the morning show. So if we missed the morning show on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 – today is the day to catch it!

The plan is to ride or view our favorites this day.

It is also the morning for a few more characters or characters we haven’t seen yet.


Lunch will be at MK CS.


After lunch, we are going to head to Animal Kingdom.

I plan to head to Finding Nemo the Musical. I am pretty sure we will not have time for this on our previous Animal Kingdom day on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.


We will also head back to our favorites or something we missed that was on our list from our first Animal Kingdom day.


Dinner is at Trail's End Buffet!

Another day planned!

I can’t wait to experience our favorite place in the world!

My husband handles check-in. He will not check-in before we get there. So no online check-in for us. I let him handle check-in, our DVC account, and travel plans. I handle every thing else.

7 layer/Magic Cookie bar is so good. Chocolate chips, coconut, butter scotch chips, sometimes peanut butter chips, it depends on how they are made. Other ingredients are sometimes nut and sweetened condensed milk. So good, sweet, and rich. They sell them at other places. I believe Port Orleans.

It is all about our DVC points, that is why we get to stay so long. It is great! We didn't take a vacation in 2012 so we banked those points and we are using them for 2 weeks in 2013. It is a good deal!
