Yachtsman's Dining Plan Question

Please help settle a debate that a friend and I are having regarding what you can get on the deluxe dining plan at Yachtsmans. I know that you get an appetitizer, entree and dessert on the plan which doesn't include any add on listed on the menu. My friend is claiming that you would get the add on since it is a signature restaurant. Anyone recently eat there and can confirm what you actually are entitled too? Thanks!!

What do you mean by an "add on?"

If you mean sides, the sides are not included because they are listed and priced separately from the entrees.

Last August it was extra $$ they did however let me substitute my side for one of the add ons at no extra cost but I'm not sure if they do that often.

By add on I was talking about the lobster tail that us now on the menu. Any of those I saying are not included.

Even on the DxDDP, sides with a separate price point are not included. As the PP mentioned, sometimes they will let you sub a price pointed side for the side included in your entrée at no cost.

Edited to add: Just saw on allears that the lobster tail is $27 so your friend should expect an upcharge.

Every time we've dined there I've substituted mushrooms for the potato side that comes with almost all the entrees. It's never been a problem. I simply tell them I don't eat potatoes and ask if I can sub anything else. They always tell me to pick any of those sides, listed at the bottom of the menu. I have also done it other restaurants down there. In fact, I don't think I've ever eaten a potato dish down there, (other than the sweet potato gratin served at Artist Point, which I love).

oops, I just finished reading the thread and realize the OP was talking about the lobster tail. I don't know about that, but like purple figment would assume it would be extra. Can't see them adding a $27.00 lobster tail on top of one of their steaks (of course Narcoose has a surf and turf that includes two filet medallions and a lobster tail, so I could be wrong.

The only way you could get the Lobster tail is if you paid for it OOP. It is not included in the meal with or without DlxDp. With the DlxDp you are entitled to one app, entree, dessert and drink. Each meal has its' own sides it comes with and they will let you change a side from one side to a different side as long as it is on the menu but no add ons will be included at no charge unless you are willing to pay for it. Your friend is wrong. You are right.
