I was worried about roaches that one poster seemed to have a problem with at riverside that seemed to be infested in quite a few rooms?

I love the way things get blown out of all proportion on the internet. One poster had a problem with roaches in their room about a month ago. POR did not have any spare rooms at the time to move him to while they dealt with the problem, so they gave him a comp upgrade to Saratoga Springs. End of story as far as I know.

But yes, there are insects and bugs in Florida, so I guess that in any location where the doorway opens to the outside world, if you leave the door open something could get in. So no one is going to guarantee you won't find anything ever - but best just hope it's a bunny rabbit not an alligator!

Btw y'all here is the south we have a lot of bugs the most annoying being the palmetto bugs that most ppl call roaches. They come around alot looking for water & have nothing to do with being unclean! This is what our pest control guy said!

Another one is love bugs.. Especially in Florida again not much you can do about it!!

We see bunnies a lot in WDW every trip in fact ,plus one, I'm not kidding a herd of deer one night driving back to the resort from DTD! There was one with a huge rack DH said " look it's Bambi dad!" Lol

We have POFQ booked for our Sept trip but if FD doesn't come out & RO code does we will switch to save the money since POFQ is almost always excluded from RO discounts

Stayed at POR twice & really liked it & had NO roach problems whatsoever btw..

We saw LOTS of squirrels, some bunnies, a nice amount of lizards and lots of birds. Not alligator or palmetto bugs, thankfully!
