Let's Face It...It's All About the Food! Hello my loyal Frumpy subjects!! Welcome to my FIRST EVER DINING REVIEW! Many of you may be familiar with my past trip reports. My first was "SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP! It Builds Character and Strength!" A July 2011 TR!, followed by "I Don't Wanna Meet Mickey In a Frumpin' Poncho!" An August 2011 TR!. I also wrote a TR with my fellow Frump, Jess (PrincessJess508), which is The Frumps Have Hit the Wall... And No One's Mad. "FART SHOES.", which is from our trip in May 2012. My most recent TR, which is now complete, is from my trip with my friend Allie (princessallie) from July 2012, which is A Frump's TR: "Me Gusta Epic Mealtime! Stop Thinking My Thoughts: I'm Five." The Frump Takes Over the World: Food Edition! A DR with Extra Magic!
Now you may be wondering, what does "extra magic" mean?
Well, this isn't going to be any ordinary dining review. There are some moments that happened on this trip that are just to awesome NOT to include, so I have to! In addition to TWO WEEKS of Disney dining deliciousness, there will also be some unexpected surprises, DISmeets, new faces, and awesome experiences! It's going to be RAD.
And now for the introductions!
First up, Me!
Hi there, I'm Kristen! I'll be your food critic, comedian, and Frumpy companion for however the heck long it takes to write this thing! I've been going to Disney World since I was 6, and have such a love for the place that I feel more at home there than at my own home! I've also been to Disneyland a couple times, and am looking forward to going back in a couple months! I love everything from the little details to the magical moments and totally immersive experiences. Of course, the Disney food is definitely one of my favorite parts of the experience, which is why I'm so excited to write this dining review! I cannot wait to share all of the wonderful things I enjoyed! I just adore everything about the place, and cannot wait to apply for my DCP in less than two years! I want so much to be a part of the Cast Member family, so hopefully you'll all be able to look for me there in a couple years! In the meantime, here are some of my Disney favorites:

Next up, Sarah!
Sarah is my 11-year-old little Frump Jr.! She has been raised to love Disney, and her knowledge is quite impressive for her age. I am so excited that she has embraced the Disney scene, and I totally support her ambitions, which just so happen to include being an Imagineer! She's really smart and well-rounded, and I hope that all her dreams come true! That would be amazing. She is a total thrill-seeker, and loves the pools and waterslides at the resorts. Here are some of Sarah's Disney favorites:

Attraction: Mission: SPACE, Expedition Everest, Journey Into the Little Mermaid, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain
Show: Celebrate the Magic
Table-Service Restaurant: Be Our Guest and Sanaa
Counter-Service Restaurant: Les Halles Bakery (France in EPCOT, formerly known as Boulangerie Patisserie)
Movie: Tangles, Hercules, The Avengers, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo and Bambi
Character: Ranpunzel, Flynn Rider, Pegasus, Hades, Eeyore, Dumbo, Thumper and Captain America
Next up, Mom!
My mom is my rock- she's my go-to person for advice, stories, laughs and just someone to talk to. We have our fights, but she has been so encouraging and supportive in my Disney career goals and love for the place. She has become quite the Disney aficionado herself over the years and has developed a huge love for the place. She loves our DVC and dreams of adding more points, and is known at work as the Disney Queen. She may be referred to sometimes as Mama Frump, by the way. She loves the traditional and classic Disney experiences, exploring the resorts, and enjoying all of the wonderful food! She is my Disney sidekick and I just love her to the ends of the earth. Here are some of Mama Frump's Disney favorites:

He loves our DVC home, AKL, as does my mom. They're obsessed. He also loves the thrill rides, relaxing at the pool, and all of the unique dining experiences that WDW offers. He has the most hilarious one-liners out of nowhere, and is just a really cool person to talk to. Here are some of Scott's Disney favorites:

Where? A split-stay between Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge- Kidani Village and Disney's Boardwalk Villas using our DVC!
When? August 15th-28th, 2012
Why? Because we LOVE Disney!
