First trip to FW in October confused about best place to ask for

Well I booked our first stay at FW for October and I thought I wanted loop 100 or 200 close to the marina, but after looking at a youtube of them I am now not so sure. Is it just the video or are the spaces much closer together in 100 and 200 than say loop 1800 or 1900? It looks like they have other campers on all sides.

I would rather not be in a pet loop and if possible be as far away for others as possible. I looks like 1800 might back up to woods? Or would I be better to ask for a space on an end in the 100's? What do you guys suggest? We have bikes and do not mind riding the internal buses.

We have a 27' motorhome and it will just be the two of us.

The 1800 loop does back on a canal, but it's a pet loop as are 1600, 1700 and 1900.

If you're looking for wide lots, 1100 has some. It is a premium loop. I guess if you're gonna be at the site a lot it's worth the extra $. 200 is a nice loop and convenient.

They are VERY close together.......300 is nice, but again....close together. 400 is a little more space if you're looking for something close to the marina. We love 800......we've stayed in all the other premiums and can't even tell you anything negative. Every loop has dogs. Even though we don't bring pets, I don't mind seeing the pooches. We love seeing the couple with their great danes each Spring.

Don't stress over the sites. Pick a loop and enjoy! You can investigate when you get there and pick another for your next visit!

All full hookups are pet loops. I like in order 1600 1800 1700 1900.

The smaller the circle of the loop the closer the sites, as in 100 & 200. Also the lower numbered loops are the original loops. When they expanded the campground the loops are larger circles and wider sites.

As said before you are at the Fort there are no bad sites. Enjoy and return soon.
