My wife and I are taking our boys on their first Disney Cruise. If it is not too late we would like to join the FE Exchange for the Magic Cruise 5/10-18/2013. For our sons Caleb-6 and Caden-4.

Thanks,

Tim and Amy

I think the deadline was april 1st...
But we are making our FE giftbags now and would be happy to make an extra one for your boys if you would like :)

Thank you,

Hello,
I would love to participate on the FE for this cruise. We did one on our first cruise last fall and the kids loved it! And so did I actually :) I am Jill and my son is Liam 8. We will be celebrating his 8th birthday.

We were a week away from getting on the plane to Europe to cruise there but Carnival cancelled our Sunshine cruises  so I had to scramble to find something for the boy since he was so disappointed. So instead of seeing Istanbul and Athens and venice and a dozen other cities we are going to Road trip to Galveston. But we are excited.

Please let me know if we can join your FE group.

Thanks a lot,

Jill neska1212

Hi Jill!
Can I please have your room number for the FE list? Thanks!

I am thinking about booking on this cruise. I have a question though that I bet you all could answer for me. If I am reading it correctly, transportation to Disney World Parks with Park Hopper tickets are included for the Port Canaveral day, am I right? Anyone find out how often the transportation runs from the ship to the parks?

Thanks.

We are all adults, so don't feel like you have to do an exchange with us (unless you really want to), it will be our pleasure to make up a giftbag for your family! :D

Do your boys have any allergies? Also what is your stateroom number (so we know where to deliver the goodies? :) )

Just over a month left!!!

Hi Tim and Amy

We are:
Brenda
Brittany (23)
Michael

Room: 2109

Is there any specific day that you would like to exchange?
We will do our best to make it extra special for your kiddies since you won't be doing the full exchange!!
I bet your kids are getting excited about cruising with Mickey, eh?!

Anything will make their day, we are going to have things for them too, they are so excited and we must confess the excitement is growing on us too. Just 32 days 13 hrs 43 min 10 seconds and counting, yippee!!

Haha glad to hear we aren't the only ones counting down the minutes! :)
It's going to be such a fun cruise!

10 Great Places to Get Doughnuts

Glazed Donuts - Key West, Fla.

You'll find a taste of the tropics at the nation's southernmost doughnut shop, where the line often stretches out the door. "They have some really great island flavors — key limes and lemons and pina coladas," Geary says. The most popular offering? The basic glazed, a hit with locals and tourists alike. 305-294-9142: facebook.com/glazeddonutskeywest

Yummm!

You are correct about the transportation and the Hopper ticket. I'm not sure how late in the AM the transportation runs, but I saw some as late as 9:30 AM (to HS, cause that's where we are going). You would book the bus to the Park of your choice, like any other excursion. They start running buses back to the Magic about 3 PM from the Parks. Information about the return will be given to us when we get on the Magic.

Hope that helps.

We missed an FE deadline once (we had booked about 25 days before sail date) and ending up exchanging with other late comers. It was about 12 cabins but I had packed other goodies and left them in the FE when the kids weren't with me. That way they got something everyday. It was kind of nice and easy because I didn't have to run around delivering other gifts and it was much cheaper! Just an idea...

We would be happy to do the FE with your family! I've been working on our gifts today and will gladly include a gift bag for you! :)

I haven't started my FE gifts yet and would like to include your family. Stateroom 8600 right? Is it the first Disney cruise for all of you? So excited for you guys!

*sheepish* I mixed up which one of the two in the convo missed the deadline :)

I'll have enough to include your family too tholifield :)

Tim and Amy,

We will be glad to include your family.

Oh yum thanks for sharing!!!

Hi all. A friend of mine directed me here. She already had her Disney cruise out of Galveston and said I could get some great tips off this board. This will be our first Disney Cruise for me, my husband and 4 year old daughter. She'll be celebrating her 5th birthday on board (and has no idea yet)! She's never been to WDW either so we're excited. Yay!

Went to the facebook link you posted and there are some really unique flavors. Will have to look this up in Key West. Thanks for the heads up.
