She did. :)

That is not a NYC yellow cab. We have letters & numbers on the top of the sign and a big square sticker stating the prices on the side. That looks like an airport in the background, so she's definitely somewhere else as if this pic.

It was at LAX. Source

I never said it was a NYC cab, or that she was even in NYC. :confused3 I said she chopped off her hair and posted a picture of the new 'do.

I wasn't accusing you of anything. :confused3
I was responding to this:

Also, Katharine McPhee is distancing herself from the show at this point.

To which you said:
Kat McPhee also chopped off her hair, so I'm assuming the show is already over.

I followed up with, from the pic, she's no longer in NYC. (They filmed in NYC in case you didn't know.) While she may just be off somewhere, it does seem that she may have distanced herself both physically and by chopped off her hair after the show finally ended. :thumbsup2

The whole Jimmy angle ruined this show for me - and Sat evening... wonder when the finale will be as it's done for...

Why does it matter the show's on Saturday (as a viewer)? Yes, I know it's "the kiss of death", but with a DVR (or heck, even a VCR), you can watch it whenever you want.

I really liked Smash in the first season but this season just plain sucks. I agree the whole Jimmy storyline is just awful. I want to like it and hope it can kick into high gear but I'm afraid the dog days are just beginning. As for its Saturday timeslot....will it even make it to the season finale?

OK, anybody still watching besides me?

I thought the two previous shows were quite good, but this last show was all over the place, with some shockers....

Why is Tom just a jerk all of a sudden?

What really happened to Kyle?

I think NBC skipped an episode somehow. A couple weeks ago, my DVR said it recorded Smash, but when I watched, it was the Voice. No big deal, I looked it up online and it said the previous episode was in March and the 'next' one (then) was last night. But there were items in the 'Previously seen on' I didn't recognize, and it seemed there were some story gaps.

I thought it was me, LOL! I missed a show somewhere. Sad the way the show has deteriorated...I loved the first season.

I've seen every episode and nothing was missed. Now that the show has been moved to Saturday, I think a lot of people missed it.

I'm watching this weeks episode right now on the computer.

ETA: But I do agree the writing seems all over the place this season.

Curious... do you watch every episode on the computer? Looking online, the ep I missed is "Opening Night" which supposedly aired on 4/20. But I know there was one Saturday night (probably 4/20) my DVR said it recorded 'Smash' , but when I watched it, it was "The Voice". If you watch every episode on the computer, that would explain why you saw "Opening Night" and lsyorke and I didn't.

Or, we just missed it, which is possible. But I know I tried watching an episode on my DVR and 'The Voice' was what was recorded (which could be a problem with maybe my DVR recorded 9-10 instead of 8-9).

I saw Opening Night it was on my DVR.

This show is a hot mess. I has to be canceled.

I don't know what has happened to Kyle. I assume he'll die and they will move the show to Broadway on the tragic story. Jimmy will get clean, blah blah blah. Having him live is sorta a cop out.

I don't like Tom's direction. Julia was fine with him directing. He said he wanted to focus on that so she does another project and he's all bent by that? Jerk.

I'd like to hear more of the musicals and see that. That is what I loved about season 1 that seems to be totally missing.

I still enjoy the show, but yes, it definitely lost something between season 1 and 2. I wish they had been able to keep up the same level of intensity this season. I don't hate Jimmy, but he's not very likeable... it's just missing something. I'm sure it is going to be cancelled...but I signed a petition in case... I think it was on E! and last year, the network listened and saved that show...this time Smash was ahead for people wanting it to come back. Who knows.

...ITA....oh, and BTW, was there a new episode last Saturday? :confused3

I'm still watching, mostly because I like the musical numbers by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

I still dislike all of the new "auxiliary" characters, although it might be a fun drinking game to do a shot every time Jimmy has a snit and storms off.

As I said, this whole season was overthought, and now there appears to be no resolution to the overthinking. How do we get Ivy back into Bombshell? Get rid of Derek and make Tom the director. Then what do we do with Karen? Invent yet another show -- and then we can introduce new characters. I miss the good old days of Eileen throwing drinks at Jerry.

It was fun, but they got to run!

I do, because no one else in my family likes the show. So I watch it during the week when I'm home alone. :)

I have a theory on what happened to Kyle, but it's pure speculation on my part. I want to seek out spoilers, but then again I don't want to know what happens. :p
