I agree, seems a little excessive, could do several different vacations for the price of that one. We stay GF, Club Level, TPV room too. What in the world is all bought for $7,000-$10,000? We don't set price limits, and usually kinda buy whatever we ( kids, dh and i ) see that we like including food and snacks --- and it's never been that amount!!
Mmmmmmm.........

From that length of stay and airfare costs, they may be coming from foreign country, so maybe really loading up on clothes, etc. not available back at home (and even a domestic trip for 3 plus weeks may include some serious clothes shopping/visits to outlet/etc). And also, for a really long stay, I could see the appeal of the "extras" that could add up quickly - championship golfing/parasailing/boat rental/etc, and maybe even a day or two of granddaddy of extras - vip tour for 2k for a day of basically all access/backstage/exclusive guide.

Although I (and probably any average family) agree with you don't forget that it's all relative. If this is a very wealthy family the amount of $24,000 before food is probably like $4000 to me before food. If they can afford it, they should enjoy it!:cool1: I hope they have a great time.

Totally agree. Disney has more than enough offerings to make that price seem reasonable to someone with the money. I cant tell you how many times I have gone to the disney.com vacation buider just to "imagineer" my ultimate Disney trip. It routinely comes out to approx. $18,000.

We added 2 nights so here is our new total

For 2 nights before package =250.00

airfare non stop out of Manchester Nh 1200.00

TOTAL for 17 days 4765.00

Spending cash 1500-1700. I really shouldn't even spend most of that since last year we went 10 days and only spent 500.00. But we do have 4 TS meals this year along with PL reservations for the girls.
Going to legoland for the day but those tickets were a gift. I would really like to go to Universal for a day as well. My girls want to do HP but they aren't tall enough for most of the rides. So will stick with just Universal not IOA if we do go.
