So is ANYONE getting into BoG?

My 6 month window doesn't open up for another month but I've already been checking out BoG ressies to see if (hypothetically) I could get a ressie 6 months from now.

And....nothing. Zilch. Nada. Yowzers.

Is anyone getting in? I'll probably just stalk the website every day just in case but in my 8 years of going to WDW, I've never been shut out of a restaurant. Even Le Cellier.

Anyone having luck?

My 180 day + 10 window opened on Friday. I actually forgot it was Friday, I thought it was Saturday. I was still able to get 2 BOG reservations for 5 people at pretty decent dinner times. I wanted one of them at 6:45 on a MNSSHP night so that we wouldn't have to waste any park time eating, this way we can just eat and then leave the park.

I even changed one of the times around today. So I don't think it's impossible.

I called at 5am CST and got in on my first date to look...it was 8:40 but with 5 in our party, figured I better take it! :) Good luck!!

Even if you can't get reservations, they have cancellations that day you want to go or when you are there. You have to ask what is available as people do reserve and not show.

This past December was our 180 +10 date for our families upcoming June trip. I had no problem getting a reservation at BOG for our group of 11. Frankly I got the exact time we wanted as well.

Are you all calling or going online? I wonder if I'd have better luck calling.

What time does Dining open? My 180 day mark will be 5/12.

And yes, I know SOMEONE'S getting in but I'm guessing MORE people are getting shut out than getting in......

It's the +10 folks...by 180 day mark that is exact for the day you want to book some folks were able to book the day before you and up to 10 days before you (basically each date opens 190 days out). If your trip is 5 nights, like mine will be in Dec, then your last night of your trip was open for the 5 days prior to when you could book it. So, the longer your stay the better chance you have of getting it. We want it for night 4 of our 5 night trip...so folks will have already been booking my night for 6 days before I can book.

Online starts at 6 am Eastern time...phones open at 7 am...it's better to go online and I hear it's better to use the old ADR resie website.

I called at 7:00 am (EST) on my 180 + 10 day because the online system wasn't working correctly.

Be our Guest was the 1st ADR I made, & it is for the 10th night of our trip (so I was only "competing" w/ other 180+10 people).

I had a choice of 2 times for our party of 5 - 4:55 pm or 8:30 pm, & I took the 4:55 pm. (I had wanted 5:30 pm.)

BoG is definitely the hardest ADR to get right now!

So my tips:

1. Either book it online at 6:00 am (EST) if you can or call at 7:00 am (EST) on your 180+10 day.

2. Try to schedule your Be our Guest ADR for as late in your trip as you can.

I was not able to get into the soft opening in November and was quite disappointed. It ended up being a blessing in disguise. Instead we went for a really early lunch got in line about half hr before opening (definitely check what's happening now re wait). During lunch you can pick whatever room you want. Because we were one of the first families in we walked right into the rose room a few feet from the action ;). They bring the food to the table which makes it feel more special. It was much cheaper too. We LOVE sit down meals but agreed that on our next trip we will eat lunch at BOG.

Maybe lunch could be a back up plan.

Also check 30 days out when families have to make final payment. They say 45 days but I have twice had to get an extension and was allowed to pay at 30. Those two days should have an increase in cancelations due to nonpayment at a time when most people will have given up trying for their date and will no longer be looking.

You'll be totally fine...I booked one reservation there for our early May trip at the 180 day mark for 5 people at the time I wanted, no problem. As time went on, I realized that we would have more people in our party, so on Christmas Day, I went on to see if there was a reservation for around the same date/time available for 8 people, and there was.

The rumor is that once every reservation is gone, they're gone - they won't show back up back on the Dining Reservation site if someone cancels a reservation - that's why you won't ever see a random reservation show back up in the system like you would at say, Cinderella's Royal Table or O'hana, etc. They do this to accommodate enough walk-ups and last-minute reservations at the resorts.

If for some very strange reason you do not get a reservation there when your window opens, you could probably just walk up and eat there when your trip comes around. Good luck!

Nope..we're going in June and I check every day..nothing. Around Easter though I remember someone posted that there were several times that popped up just a week prior to Easter week..they were snapped up in no time flat.

I'm not so sure about that rumor. I have gotten reservations at my preferred time after they said the day/time was full including in the Castle for lunch. It takes persistence. I would check every time I was online eventually it worked. Getting on 10 min before release(5:50 am) and repeatedly trying to log in is the best bet of course.

I called on my 180 day and was able to get BOG for our September trip at 4:10 wanted 6 but I wasn't going to turn it down. We are a party of 6

I called on our 180 +10 (online was not working) and that was the first one I requested and got the time and date we wanted. We are a party of 8, but we requested 4:30 since we have a 5 year old that is used to eating at 5, so we all eat in his schedule while traveling! We know from last trip that by the time we are seated and actually have food a 4:30 reservation is about perfect! His school has lunch at 11:15, so dinner time has to be early too! A hungry 5 year old boy is not as cute as a full tummied one!

My August trip was a spur of the moment Bounce Back.
I started making my ADR's at 5 months. For weeks, I could not get a BOG reservation, then I finally got one, but it's at 9:15pm. Lol.
I check every day, sometimes several times, for cancellations.
