We are so excited, too. We are counting down the days! I'm sad to hear about the cakes, because my oldest daughter is turning 11 on the cruise. Oh, well.

Does anyone know if Remy is willing to work with you if you don't eat fish? Not an allergy, just don't eat it.

I really want to experience it, however the amount of fish on the dinner menu is too much for my taste.

We have not eaten at Remy's because I had terrible sea sickness on the last cruise. However if it's anything like Palo's and the other sit down restaurants they will do whatever it takes to make you happy. The cast members are phenomenal!! Our cousin who joined us on our last cruise is Hungarian as was one of our servers. One night at dinner they got into a conversation about Hungarian goulash. Our last night on the ship the server surprised our table with a course of Hungarian goulash. They really go above and beyond to make you happy:)

So excited only 2 weeks left! I am not done with FE gifts they are being mailed to me but are lost I hope they make it soon or I need a new idea

What day is your daughters bday? My daughter turns 10 on April 23rd!
I think were just gonna try to get a cupcake or some type of fancy dessert and sing her happy birthday!

Anna's is April 23 as well! How about that? When you booked, did you note that you were celebrating the birthday? If so, it should already be planned. They bring cake and sing. I guess I'll mention to our waiter just to make sure they didn't miss it.

Less than 2 weeks to go! :woohoo::yay::woohoo:

I've checked a recent Navigator to figure out a good time and place to meet. If you'd like to attend, let me know which one you think works best. I'll have a sign that says DIS Meet. Almost 30 families have been participating in this thread!

Day 1 at 7:30pm in 687 Pub, deck 4 aft
or
Day 2 at 9:30am at Mickey's Pool, deck 11 mid

The pro of doing it on the first day is that the kids can make friends right away, and then hang out together in the clubs at night. The lifeboat drill is at 4pm and sail away party is at 4:30pm. The evening shows are 6:15pm and 8:30pm, so it looks like there's about an hour between dining and the shows.

Here's a link to recent Navigators.

Meeting the first night sounds great! Thanks also for sharing the link to the recent navigator! So much to do on board!

Does anybody else have late dining and are doing the dine and play with the kids?
We've done late dining on our last two cruises and LOVE it!! We always let the kids decide if they'll go back to the club or hang out. It's usually 50/50 with them.

My daughter worked on the fish extender gifts for the kids for hours last night. She is so excited and this particular item is made with love by my sweet 8 year old!

I am working on my FE Gift as I type almost done and we are taking it in our carrying as well and our gifts. I am so excited! I apologize our pockets are small but there is one for each of the girls and 1 for the adults to share.

Our FE gifts are all organized and ready! I put stickers on each item with the cabin # and recipient's name, so it doesn't matter if you don't have separate pouches for each person. DD just needs to add our cabin number to our FE and we're ready to go. :thumbsup2

My sister was in Norwegian's private Bahamas island yesterday and said it was sunny and the water was cool when you first went in, but then you got used to it. :beach:
