Anyone know of any discount codes for staying one night before cruise flying into MCO that night at the Hyatt at the airport?

Thanks,

I don't know any codes but I joined last minute travel and reserved a room there for 126.00. A lot better than the normal charge of 170.00.

Lastminutetravel is like Hotwire where they do not tell you the hotel until after you book. But unlike the guessing game with Hotwire, I've learned how to positively identify the hotel on lastminutetravel.

On the results page, if you hover your cursor over the Description or Maps & Directions hotlink, you will see a link in the bottom of your browswer. Take note of the numbers following the left parenthesis (

On a 2nd browser, open the following link
http://www.touricoholidays.com/en/Pa...calTgsProvider

Then replace the 3037 with the number that you received from lastminutetravel. That will then open the page to the hotel that you would 'win' if you purchase through lastminutetravel.

The Hyatt MCO is 2825.

I have used lastminutetravel for several Disneyland trips and always know exactly what hotel I'm getting.

There is the stay certificates you can get. For the Hyatt MCO the least expensive selection is "choice" at $152. If you go this route call first to make sure you can get a ressie for the date you need with a certificate and then buy the certificate over the phone. With the certificate all taxes and surcharges are included. Give them the certificate at the desk and you are done. Have a magical cruise. Also here are some instructions if you decide to stay at the Hyatt.

Another option for a little cheaper than rack rate is to use a Hyatt "Stay Certificate". If I remember correctly the Hyatt MCO is a "Choice" level hotel, those certificates are currently $152.22 + a couple of $ shipping. You have to call the hotel directly to find out if there are rooms available for use with the Stay Certificate for the night you want. If there are rooms available then you buy the certificate from the Hyatt web site and book the room using the code on the certificate. Finally turn over the certificate at check-in. We have done this before and it really saved $$, at the time, the cheapest rate available online was over $200 a night.

If you use a mobile device you can actually see the hotel at lastminutetravel.com before you make the purchase. I used them for my cruise in february and had no issues with them.

I have to say the stay certificate is amazing...I learned about the stay certificate on tuesday right here on the dis...I called to make sure a room was available (first....this is best to make sure you can use it on your day)...they woman on the phone booked the room using without the certificate...she told me that I should just go ahead and book while I was on the phone because the stay certificate rooms go quickly...I booked...I went online and ordered the certificate (I believe online is theonly way to get them) and then guess what the certifcate came the next day...it's $6 for fedex shipping...so go for it....it was 152.22 but the room online was 212.66

The 2nd browser link did not work for me... any other suggestions?

The MCO Hyatt isn't even on lastminutetravel.com for when I want it in Aug.

I also have used Last Minute Travel *CLUB*. A nice DISer posted a free membership code back around Xmas I think and I was able to use it for our girls Dream sailing in September and I'm paying $97 total.

I might be mistaken but there are two different options here. For the *club* portion and the regular Last Minute Travel. There is another link at the bottom of the page to go to the club section. From there is does take some digging to find the MCO Hyatt but don't give up. I was very pleasantly surprised it came up to $97 total for the three of us there since my Mom and I paid $230 to stay there in December.

Hope this helps,
Heather

Yeah. It isn't always available. I tried to wait it out my last cruise and ended up buying a Stay Certificate. It did appear two weeks before my sail date. Too close for comfort, IMO

Thank you for posting about the club on last minute travel. I had no idea! I did a google search and found a promo code and was able to join for free. Booked the Hyatt MCO for $108.05 for the one night I've been looking for in July. Thank You!!!:cool1:

Awesome!! That was my intent because the club portion is different and you have to "register" since you have to log in to the club portion.

I'm so glad it helped someone :goodvibes

We also used the LMT Club with a free membership code we found on the Disneyland boards. We are staying first Saturday in Sept 2013 and are paying $97.55 for the Hyatt Orlando Airport standard room prior to our Dream Cruise.

My last post left out my quote back to you, but anyway! Looks like we got the same rate and we are on the same Dream sailing! We are also headed to Alaska this summer! :cool1:

See you there!

Great dis travelers think alike. Looking forward to the Wonder to Alaska on May 27th, and the Dream to the Bahamas Sept 8th. When we get off the Dream in September we are staying for the 3 day Pin Event...in Epcot.

Just wanted to caution that according to the website, LMT Club membership is automatically renewed each year. You authorize LastMinuteTravel Club to collect payment of your Membership Fees, Renewal Fee(s) and any other charges....... by automatically charging any billing vehicle LastMinuteTravel Club has on file for you" Wonder if the credit card I used to book the Hyatt counts?

You can only cancel in writing, and "once LastMinuteTravel Club is contacted in writing for cancellation, a cancellation number will be issued to you and a cancellation agreement may be sent to you to sign and return. Once your cancellation number is issued, you agree to return to LastMinuteTravel Club the signed cancellation agreement, if applicable

It is a great rate for the Hyatt! Just a little bit of a pain to cancel if you don't want to automatically renew.
