so how many days before u heard if you passed

Went to Disney March 22, found out that DVC took the contract on April 02.

11 Days

Ours was sent over on 3/8 and exactly 2 weeks later we heard Disney took it back. It definitely seems that if they re going to take the contracts they do it pretty quickly!

For me it was 2 1/2 weeks sent to ROFR 3/6 found out 3/25 BWV taken. Just had another contract excepted today (2nd one sellers had issues) so three strikes your out OR 3rd time is the charm!:goodvibes

One contract that was taken was 27 days and one that passed was 27 days. Both were OKW.

So im guessing i wont find out until day 28 or so. Im on 16. Waiting sux. I get that we've all had to do it. Just sayin, its not fun. Hope im one of the lucky ones that passes at day 21.

So do you think Disney just sits on those they don't think they'll ROFR just in case they decide to do it at the last minute? That's what's strange to me.

Disney has no incentive to make the resale-buying process any easier. Every resale contract sold is potentially a lost direct sale by Disney.

Disney has 30 days to exercise ROFR. If they intend to do so, you normally hear something before 21 days. They make the others wait until almost 30 days for notification and they have now delayed the account access info 10 to 15 days. IMO it's to punish resale buyers and to force buyers who don't want to wait to buy direct. :sad2:

Bill,

I'm beginning to agree with you. From casual observation of how DVD appears to operate, :rotfl2: I wouldn't be suprised to see the decision made in the first week and then put it on a stack and not inform the involved parties until the last 3-5 days of the ROFR period. :crazy2:

Based on some of the issues we've had with Disney IT, I wouldn't be suprised if DVD has one person with spreadsheet to determine what they will ROFR given the randomness of their decisions on contracts. :confused3

Just like you, JMHO.

John

I can assure you that nothing about Disney is random. ROFR, just like anything else Disney, is very calculated. It just seems random to us because we have no information on how it works.

How many days passed before you heard if you passed or or got taken by disney?

Our first contract was ROFR'd on day 26. We were very disappointed but tried our luck again . We are on day 14 patiently waiting hopefully for good news:)

Went to ROFR on 3/4 notified passed on 4/2 so 28 days:goodvibes
