pete werner just announced on the disunplugged live that 20 'bungalows' of one and two bedrooms each are going to be built starting this year at the poly. They will extend out into the water and be accessed via a dock. The assumption is that these will be dvc.

why don't you just take my money.

And Bank accounts do get overdrawn:worried:
I'm in if its priced similarly to BLT

I think it sounds positively dreamy.

One day, hopefully, "Poly DVC" will be in my list of trips below.....:cloud9:

I was lucky enough to stay in an overwater Bungalow in Bora Bora for my honeymoon some time ago, and its really a great and unique experience. We also stayed at 9 Beaches in Bermuda in a bungalow and loved it. I think its a nice & fitting touch, especially for Disney Honeymooners, but I'm sure it will be really expensive and hard to get at the Poly. They are already overpriced, but heck you are paying for amenities like the monorail. I would definitely pay for an overwater bungalow, but I think I'd save my money for a bungalow in another destination...where the water is blue.;)

I think it said from the Tahiti longhouse

I wonder how it will look;

Disney would be quite happy to oblige;)

Because the Poly isn't already too expensive for us already, lol.
This will make the Longhouses seem like a bargain:thumbsup2

Just a guess here, but I'd put them more in line with GFV pricing +

Is that good or bad:scratchin

I know it will::yes::

is this a late April Fools joke??? ;)
If it is, blame Pete Werner, AKA, WebmasterPete, your Grand Administrator.

You're already changing to the bungalow in your mind, aren't you?

Ooooo...this sounds GOOD. And I'm not even a Poly fan!

If true, I would think there is a much better chance that they will be located on the other side of the resort, in front of the quiet beach in front of Aotearoa

Disney likes to reuse architecture, and retheme it. I'm not sure what the footprint looks like, but maybe they will use the treehouse villa layout for each hut.

You couldn't pay me to stay in an overwater bungalow at WDW. It would be so easy for a water snake to slither up and in your bed. :scared1: A couple years ago, Pete posted a video of some of the podcast crew fishing on bay lake. There was a water snake in the area. The boat went the other way and you could hear the CM saying that snake "could rock your world"...

I, too, have stayed in a overwater bungalow at Bora Bora. :lovestruc

confused off the dock - sounds like the one at Polyn - but the one near Tahiti (love it) are off the ferry dock????

it will be very, very expensive - why do you think the price of BLT has gone up so GF won't be such a shock - well expect the same for the Polyn.

since retired and limited income - don't think will buy - who knows might win a lottery......pixiedust:
