Pennies! Love them. It looks like something fun to collect. We are going to get the boys pin trading this time. I enjoy it, but I took a picture of mine and will give them to the boys to trade. I was going to buy some junk ones to trade, but I forgot. Oops. It's getting close!! I can't wait to see your photos!!

Day 4 – Down Town Disney and Hollywood Studios – 4/20

Down Town Disney has always been a full day destination for us, and we normally do it near the end of the trip to get our big shopping done. However, this trip, I don’t think we are going to need that much shopping time. We normally end up just looking mostly, as we stick to the “buy it when you see it” rule for the most part.
Once we get our shopping out of the way (and with enough time to have it shipped back to the resort! Score for not going at the end of the trip) we will head over to Hollywood Studios. We have a 5:50 reservation at Sci-Fi that I am super excited for! We went back in 2011 and had a ball!

Both Josh and I have wanted to go back, but we didn’t even hit the studios in 2012, so this is the first chance we have had.

After dinner, the plan is to grab a FastPass for Starwars, and then go to see Fantasmic. If we can get a few other things done, that would be great, but the big stress is to eat, and see the show! We do have a full day later in the week at the Studios to get some other things done if needed.

This past weekend I went through each of my penny books, and using this list I got form the front desk in 2012, I tracked what I have, and created an excel spreadsheet. I figure we can get a new list each time we go to update what we do and don't have!

Wow... you take your pennies seriously!

I can't believe there are too many you don't have. That's a lot of pennies.

I'm just going to go out on a limb here, but I'm guessing that you're probably a little bit excited about one of the new rides in Fantasyland.

We are trying Sci Fi for the first time! I was having a hard time deciding between it and Prime Time. What a cute picture of the two of you!!! You must be getting SO excited!!

We have the same issue, we love both!!!! But, we loved the cars in a drive in theme!

Apparently you do less than 100% if you don't have them all yet.


I think I've seen a map online that lists all the pennies and where they can be found somewhere before. I looked at it because my sisters and I used to collect them when we were little, but I apparently didn't care enough at the time to want to restart the collection. I don't even remember where it was that I saw it.

Day 5 - Epcot - 4/21

This is going to be our first hopping day ever. We are going to spend the morning/early afternoon in Epcot, eating at the booths and just generally wandering around! We had had a lunch reservation at Via Napoli, but I cancelled it when they started releasing the information about the food booths. We figure we will have more fun snacking around the world!

Then for the evening we are going to hop over to the Magic Kingdom to see Main St. Electrical Parade. We have never been to Casey's so I figured we might try that for dinner.

Day 6 - Magic Kingdom - 4/22

Our last day in the Magic Kingdom But not our last day!!

This day will be mostly hitting our favorites again, and seeing about getting into Be Our Guest for lunch. We have dinner reservations at 'Ohana, which we have never done! We did breakfast there last trip and had a blast though! I keep reading such amazing things about dinner there that I can hardly wait!


We have decided to join a photopass share, and I paid the other day, so I am excited to see the return of Josh's surprise face! Here is one of my favorites from the past

We also have discovered that Lucky is allergic to us going to Disney! He saw us pull out the suitcases, and his nerves made him so sick we ended up at the vet getting X-Rays because we all thought (vet included) it might have been an obstruction!

I can't imagine going to the parks and not hopping. The flexibility is great. I'm sure you'll love it.

Especially going from experiencing F&W to an evening in MK. It's fun to be able to experience the best that 2 parks have to offer in one day.

But you're still wrong for cancelling Via Napoli.

This day will be mostly hitting our favorites again, and seeing about getting into Be Our Guest for lunch.

First hopping day?! I remember researching for my very first WDW trip in 2008 and debating between PH's and one day, one park tickets. Their is a significant price difference but we didn't want to be 'stuck' at one park in case we didn't like it. Now it's a MUST and we will always work it in to our budget now.

I haven't been to Casey's either and I hear it's good

We are VERY lucky the military tickets include a hopper! I am worried once we get it though we won't be able to go back Lucky is just fine, is in just a big BABY. He is so funny! Our share worked out to be $20! We were on the fence about getting it, until I found someone I knew doing a share!

I love this park! I think there are a ton of things to do, even though I won't do TOT again... freaked me out!!! I hate being "dropped." I still haven't done RR but maybe this time? ......I dunno. I love the Great Movie Ride too. Fantasmic is our very last stop before heading home... such a good way to end our vacations.

I keep hearing cool things about the Magic of Disney Animation, but not sure about that... Haven't really explored that part of the park... but the Jack Sparrow attraction seems SUPER interesting!!! It looks like it just opened in December.
