Disney Visa Card

You have to have the card in hand to book the offer, but the current DV offer goes public on April 2, so you can just call that morning to see if it can be applied to your reservation.

It can be applied. Just call them let them know you have been approved but still waiting on your card. They should be able to apply it then no issues.

Just did it myself on Thursday to save 30% on Boardwalk CL

They applied your discount even without the credit card number? I was approved yesterday and called the company and they said I had to wait to get the card in the mail that I couldn't get my cc number over the phone! I hope by the time I get my card or the go sale opens I can get a god discount!!!

If I remember correctly we were told to set up you online account and you free to book with the offers. Applied to the card without the card. That was about a yet ago.

How did you put down the required $200 payment with the Disney Visa if you didn't have the card number? :confused3

FYI- I booked using my regular visa. When my disney visa came in, I was able to switch cards. They refunded my original card and charged my disney one.

Can someone explain the "Disney Debit" card? All I see are the "Premier" and "Rewards" . Is the debit card different?

We opened a Disney Visa card a few months ago. I wanted to book my trip on the card but didn't have the card after a few days of getting approved online. Spoke with somebody from Chase who said that, while they could not give any numbers/credit card information over the phone, they would overnight our cards to us. We had them the next day and booked!! (We did get the "original" cards a few days later).

Same thing with us! Our vacation balance was due and we had applied and been approved for the card. Gave them a call and they overnighted the card! Credit card companies don't mind sending out cards asap, faster for holders to start accruing balances!

Had already put 200 down with disney gift cards from target so didnt need to do a deposite.

You must have gotten a CM that didnt know what they were supposed to do then. :rotfl: You are supposed to put $200 on the Disney Visa in order to be eligible for the discount. It can either be the deposit, or if your trip was already booked using a different form of payment, you need to make a $200 payment on your balance with the DV.

Yup. It happens lol

If I want to get the in park merchandise and meal discounts with the Visa, do I need to use the card itself, or can I simply associate it with my room charges and use it that way?

Thanks!

You do have to use the card itself.
