'You Big Fatty!' A delicious dining review- COMPLETE!!

HELOOOOO SHARI

Long time no 'speak' Mrs!

Just caught up with your excellent reviews :thumbsup2

How's it all going? are you heading back to WDW this year? ..... questions, questions!

Hey there lovely Linda! :-) :wave2:

Missing Disney - as always! Thinking about going back to Disney next year - without the kids! (But they are having a mega sulk about this and giving us the guilts!)

What about yourself?

So, now we come to our final day in WDW. Our flight wasn't till later in the day so were determined to make the most of our remaining time.

I had to have one of these!:

At lunchtime we headed over to Liberty Tree Tavern for a bite to eat. I had the pot roast:

This is delicious - the mash is so creamy and the meat is fork tender.

Simon and Kate had - what else? The Burger:

And Sarah had the pilgrim's feast:

A nice refreshing drink:

We decided to have some dessert to fortify us for our trip home:

This looks like some kind of fruit cobbler - I think I had it! It was very nice anyway:

Kate had some chocolate cake:

Simon had sorbet:

We really enjoyed our meal here - it was a fitting final meal in the Magic Kingdom. The service was good and the food was delicious.

Big Fatty Rating: 6 out of 10

Coming up: Final thoughts....:(

I have to admit that even at my age I would insist that my parents took me with them to Disney !! ;)
An adults only trip would be fun though
We have a trip planned for December this year, we've never been in December so we are looking forward to seeing all the Christmas stuff :)

Sounds fantastic! After we went in August last year, Simon and I were calculating if we could come back in December! School holidays are not very flexible though....one day!

I must admit - the first time I went to WDW was with Simon's parents! That's the great thing about Disney - you never have to grow up!

My family & I have an ADR for paradiso 37 too, i was kinda regtreting making them....but now I can't wait to go!!! Thanks for the pics!

Hi Shari! I am a fan of LTT pot roast... It brings happy memories! :) My DD loves the chocolate cake by I'm an ooey gooey toffee cake die hard fan myself!!

Last days at WDW are soooo sad. But you ended your trip with a great meal!

Just read your whole review and loved it all! I am planning an adults only trip this fall and trying to decide which signatures to book. Your review was no help because I want them all :rotfl2:

Seriously though, your reviews were fantastic. I wonder if I can convince my friends to splurge on V&A???

Great dining report thank you!

I was considering completing my own dining report on our next trip in August but I tend to eat a lot of the same restaurants and order the same things. On our last trip,in October, we ate at The Cheesecake Factory 6 times and I ordered the same meal each time so my report would be much fun to read!

Thanks again Andrea :0)

I must admit I've never tried LTT but I know my parents really enjoyed it when they went. Was this ever a character meal, or am I imagining that?

We really like LTT for lunch! Especially the ooey gooey toffee cake

V & A was worth every cent - we would go back there in a heartbeat. Thank you for reading

There was a character option - Mickey and Minnie etc dressed up like the pilgrim fathers I think! It is a nice little haven from the MK.

All I can say is once again WDW did not let us down in terms of food. We visited some old favourites and found some new ones.

We fell back in love with California Grill. We discovered the delights of Victoria and Alberts. We tried Yachtsman steakhouse for the first time.

But Disney also excels at casual dining - from fish and chips to ice creams and cakes. The whole range of food experience is here. Just waiting to be consumed.

And consume we did! Often and in large quantities!:goodvibes

The whole holiday receives a big whopping Big Fatty rating of: Ten out of ten! :cheer2:

Of course, we can't wait to go back. Don't know when. In the meantime we have booked a four night break to Disneyland Paris in July :)

I've already started looking at hotels and I might just have to write a little dining review...:thumbsup2

Thanks to you all for sticking with me - and for your kind remarks! You are the best! :flower3:
