Alcohol question. . . .

It needs to be in a bag of some kind and needs to be carried on. Maybe use a small rolling suitcase or backpack.

OK. I can't use my standard soft roll carrier anymore.

So what do I do with a case of beer? Just put it through the X-ray and carry it with me carry on stuff?

Apparently, it's supposed to be in some sort of bag (or cover). I've read where some people were given black plastic garbage bags to put their beverages in if they were carrying them in the open.

If you are not taking the Disney bus to the port you have the driver stop at the store. I have see many people mention they have the driver stop at the store for things they forget or cannot carry on the flight. If you are in a motel before the cruise there are companies that deliver to your room.

I wonder - can you bring a small suitcase with the soft sided cooler in it? Is the ban just for carry on or is it a total ban on soft sided coolers?

If all else fails, go to the rules! Thanks for posting.

We used a small suitcase for DH's beer. When he was ready to drink them, we asked for a bucket of ice from the pool bar to keep them cold and tipped them of course. We never felt the need to actually use a cooler.

Just off the Dream this past week. I had no problems brining ice packs and small cooler onboard. My two sons carried their soft-sided lunch boxes with ice packs and yogurt and snacks in them. Put them on the scanner belt and had absolutely no issues. Also had a backpack filled with drink boxes and another very small soft-sided cooler with ice packs and more of my son's food. Again, absolutely no problems or questions.

I was really worried about brining my son's food onboard but no one questioned anything.
