hi!

I am looking for a very supportive shoe for disney world that is comfortable. I have had really bad foot pain for about 2 years during my trips and tennis shoes just aren't cutting it anymore.

Has anyone used this brand and tell me if it gives blisters? Do you like these sandals for Disney?

I am specifically thinking about the Tirra style.

Thanks!

I bought the Tirra style a few years ago and LOVE them! They are so comfortable to walk around and I lived in them everyday it doesn't rain from April to November. Never took them to Disney yet. I hope I can wear them again soon but I broke my ankle and they won't fit me just yet.

Best sandals I ever bought (paid $60 on sale for them at Sports Authority)

Oh, I never got blisters from them and I did have foot pain so I was glad to find the Tirra Teva.

I have a pair and they are great for people with high arches or who need a little extra support. Waterproof as well.

I got Teva Tirra's in January and am breaking them in now for our trip in June. They are fantastic for my feet, I can walk in them pretty much forever.

Tevas and croc sandals are all I wear in the parks and I have never gotten blisters from either shoes. I can not wear tennis shoes and be comfortable and blister free like I can in Tevas but everyone is different. I have flat feet so even if you don't have high arches they are comfy. It is so much better in the rain to be wearing tevas than tennis shoes as well.

I have about 5 pairs of teva's and each one works great. I wore them on our last trip. I have had problem with my feet for years and these work great.

We are a Teva family, we love them. They are great for Disney because they can get wet, have plenty of traction and support, and adjust enough to get a good comfortable fit across the tops of feet :)

We are also a Tiva/Disney family. I just bought a pair of the Tirra style for each DD and myself from Amazon. Kid style was $28 adult's $45. If you sign up for their shoe club, Amazon will email you a coupon for 20% off your purchase. You also get free shipping on orders over $25.

I wasn't picky on the color of the sandals. Some are less expensive than others.

Now I just need to wait 10 more days to walk in them at WDW!!!

Love my Teva Tirras!!! Bought them for my trip to WDW last April and just bought a new pair for our trip in two weeks. Even got my husband wearing
Tevas -- In the 38 years I have known him he had never worn ANY sandal before last year. Just ordered a second pair for him too!

I've been shopping around for a pair of Tirras as well and am interested in the shoe club. Is this an amazon thing? I'm checking amazon and googled it and couldn't find anything.

Google Amazon.com shoe subscription. :)

Good luck!

I too love my Tevas! I have about 4 pairs and wear them all the time when the weather is warm enough. I live in them!

Teva's are my absolute must have favorites for all my Disney trips. I still pack band aides and will put those on spots that might have a tendency to rub. The "blister" band aids are waterproof & are great for staying put in humidity & when there's a downpour.

Teva Mush are fabulous! I have a very bad back which can send pain radiating down my legs and to my feet. Tevas are the best for allowing me to walk through the parks with no pain. Merrills were good too but the style that worked for me was discontinued. I bought a cute pair of Clark's flip flops to try this time too.

Teva Open Toachi (6021)

I have problems with my feet. When I found these, after wearing them for a little while I bought 3 more pairs (they were getting ready to switch to an updated version, and I wanted to make sure I got them exactly like what I had! :rotfl:). They have Mush integrated into the footbed and required absolutely no break in period. They are waterproof, but I've never worn mine in the water (although my daughter did borrow a pair to go rafting).

These are GREAT sandals! :lovestruc

Would anyone recommend the Hurricane sandals? I'm looking at those and the Tirra. I've had my Teva Mush flip flops for ages and I adore them but I'm interested in a strapped sandal this time.

Also, I got the amazon shoe club to work! Thanks so much for the great tip!

The Hurricaine line is great! It's our go-to in Tevas. From adult down to little kid no issues for us, and they wear like iron - last years.

I am also a fan of Terra Fi Lite and Pretty Rugged. The sole on those two are not as thick as Hurricaine, and the styling is a little more girley ::MinnieMo

Has anybody tried the Churn Evo (teva)? We are going to WDW in June and am hesitating in those or the Tirra......or should I get both? Do the Tirras dry fast? I will also get the Tirras for my daughters. I'm afraid they'll be too hot in running shoes. Is one pair of Tirras enough for the week. (Plus flip flops for the pool)
Thanks for your insight!
