All NEW BC Marketplace Thread: 2014 Update!

Is the kids turkey sandwich premade?? What comes on it? Thanks!!!

In our experience, the sandwiches have always been made to order and we could ask for them plain and without additional toppings. The photo below is just the case that displayed the options - but did not contain the sandwiches that they serve.

Does anyone know if a child on the DP can order an adult breakfast sandwich...seems strange that the child's sandwich has egg, tomato, and cheese when the adult has bacon, and (thankfully), no tomato? I know there is not really a differential in CS credits (adult vs kid) on the receipts...:confused3
Mickey waffles would make my life so much easier!!

We've used the dining plan in the past, but now rely on TIW for our discounts instead, so I'm not up on the latest dining plan rules. But I do recall that our kids could only use their credits for kids' meals, unless a location did not offer a kids' menu. In that case, they were able to use their credits for anything on the menu. At least, that's my understanding of the official rules. You could always pay OOP for the item they want and save their kids' credits to use later.

Breakfast looks great! Anyone have pics for lunch/dinner?

Here are a few I took in August of 2011, but the menu has changed since then:

Any BC specific merchandise?

We were last there in March 2012. They did have BC specific merchandise, but I only have pictures of two of the items. I know there were other items of clothing. I can't remember what else they sold.

Beach Club Key Chain

In July I was able to get a BC windbreaker and BC frig magnet. I remember that they had BC polo shirts too. HTH.

Thanks! When we were in WDW this past january we took a stroll over to BC, to say hi to Teena, and investigate Sunken Treasures, lol. We did pick up a BC fridge mag. :goodvibes I have a collection of WDW mags from resorts I've stayed at, before they stopped the merchandise so i was happy to be able to add the BC mag. to my collection.

The first version of the Marketplace thread has more pictures of resort specific merchandise for the YC and BC:

Is that really all they offer at the BC/YC for QS breakfast?? I would love to try BC sometime...maybe this August....but we eat at the resort every morning before heading out and I need more than just two options :( How can they have a Disney resort without Mickey waffles?? Please tell me I am missing something??? And not much seating...do people take the food back to their room? I saw the outdoor seating, but in August??

Unfortunately, no Mickey waffles. There are a few hot breakfast options, plus some muffins and pastry items.

There is the outside seating, but as you pointed out, not ideal for August. Just around the corner from the Marketplace is the Solarium, a community area that offers lots of comfy seating- chairs, couches and coffee tables.

Okay, thanks. *sigh* I guess BC is not on my radar then....I need more choices in the morning. Although, Sunshine Seasons is right around the corner with their super awesome breakfast panini

Does anybody know where at the marketplace do you turn in your Photopass+ voucher for the red PP+ pass? And if it is manned what are the hours?

I'm pretty sure that one or more of the lounges at Yacht Club & Beach Club (Ale & Compass, Crew's Cup, Martha's Vineyard) have continental breakfasts. That won't give you the Mickey waffles you want, but it is a fast option in addition to the BC Marketplace. I believe Captain's Grille has buffet and table service for breakfast, and Cape May Cafe has the character buffet breakfast.

I don't have details because I always eat breakfast in the room (I'm DVC), but I wanted to make sure you were aware of the additional options.

Thanks for the info. We always have a QS breakfast then a longer break at lunch for TS. So having options for breakfast is very important to my family. Even at the Poly with their limited options at CaptCooks, we still had plenty to choose from. Guess I will just have to skip BC this time. Maybe once the little guy has grown up some we can try again. Thanks for all the great info! :goodvibes

I'm going to ask this over on the main FAQ thread- I am curious about the answer to this.

On my last trip to the BC, there was a dedicated booth? table? with a photopass CM, located in the hallway between the lobby and the Marketplace, near the elevators. Not sure if there is still a dedicated area for photopass and if so, what the hours are.

Anyone know?

I just spoke with someone from customer service At photo pass. He said there is a table at the marketplace but they are only open from 5-9pm. So you can only redeem during those hours.

Thanks for the picture, iluvpluto27!!!

Ok, I have to admit something silly. Whenever I see the title of this thread, the potatoes in this picture immediately pop into my head and then I start craving breakfast food. Every.single.time.

At the risk of sending you cravings again, I wanted to let you know that your post made me smile!

:)

Bon Appetit!

Does anyone know if powerade is an option with the refillable mugs at the BC Marketplace? I can't remember if it was there when I was there last October/November. I'm pretty sure they had it at All Star Sports, so that's probably where I'm remembering it from, but I wanted to double check. From the pics on this thread, I don't see it, but maybe it could have changed since the pics were taken.
