I'm going to jump in and Big River Grille! I was *just* looking at their menu, and noticed beef or chicken nachos (you look to have both) with creamy pepper jack cheese, lol.

One last day of eating for us, and then tonight we begin our 18 hour drive home to Illinois. Not sure if I'll be able to post today's updates before we leave or they may have to wait until we get home tomorrow.

Since I will probably not be able to download to photobucket and post our pics from today until we get home tomorrow, I've decided to do something a little different. We have had/will have 3 meals today before we leave for home tonight. One a QS and two TS. If you can correctly guess the location of any of these three meals sight unseen, you can earn 5 points for each correct guess. Oh, and each person is allowed only 3 guesses, so choose wisely.

Chris(DVC4Life) sent us some Epcot Flower and Garden food pictures!

"On Thursday evening we went over to EPCOT cuz I wanted to see the Flower and Garden Displays and try some of the food stands. Everything we tried I thought was very good."



"The girls absolutely loved the, I believe, Violet Lemonade. It was very refreshing and yummy."

"And then my favorite part of F&G is the flowers they have. Just beautiful. Wish EPCOT looked like this all year round!"

Side Note from Rachel: This picture is beautiful!!! Nice work!

"Then we have the Florida Fresh stand itself. I really enjoyed the watermelon salad. It would be really great to have in August when it is so hot and humid here at home. We also tried the Shrimp and Grits. Very good. Shrimp had a little spice to them. Mmmmmmm."

"And lastly the girls wanted to try the candied strawberries. They were pretty good but not what I was expecting. I just couldnt get over the candy crunch. A very fun food to try."

"And with that, we are done. I cant wait until May when we are back again. We have some new restaurants to try and some old favorites. So until then, keep posting everyone. I love this thread!"

Chris sent us some updates from their Disney Dream cruise ship pictures of Animator's Palette.

"Our next evening meal was in Animator’s Palette. And I think my favorite."



"We started with the truffle pasta. OMG, it was out of this world good. We all just loved it! Wished that we could have had it again."

"Then for our main courses I had, I think my all time favorite. The chicken with beets. It was so good. I couldn’t stop Yummmmming through the meal."

"DD had the veal. Said it wasn’t nearly as good as her lamb the night before."

"And DH and DD2 had the beef. "

"I can’t remember what was had for dessert but it looks good."

Chris sent us a couple of cruise updates and Yak & Yeti!

"Well, I kept forgetting my camera during meal time so the next we have is the Martini Tasting. We really enjoyed it and had fun. The martinis we tried were, starting from the right, Dirty, Apple, Cosmo and Crème Brulee. I liked them all but the dirty one. Ick. We did this up in Meridian. The bar between Palo and Remy. It is so peaceful and quiet up there. And the view is outstanding!"

"And that is the last of my cruise food."



"Next are the pictures from Yak and Yeti. First we tried the Fried Green Beans. We all really did like these. Very crisp and the sauce had a little bite. Oh, and I forgot a picture, but DH also started with the salad. It was huge but I didnt care for it either. Weird dressing on it."

Wok-Fried Green Beans - battered green beans, sweet Thai chili dipping sauce $8.49

"I believe I had the Shanghai Express (?) . It was pretty good."

"DD1 had the Chicken Lo Mein. She didnt care for the chicken and wished there would have been more noodles. I tasted it and it was meh."

"I had the Mahi Mahi and didnt care for it at all. Very very over cooked and dry. I didnt like the sauce on the fish either. I added quite a bit of soy sauce to be able to moisten it up enough to eat."

Crispy Mahi Mahi - filet of mahi mahi, Japanese bread crumbs, Cantonese sweet and sour sauce, jasmine rice, stir-fried vegetables $23.99

"DH had the steak and shrimp and liked it ok. He gave me a taste of steak and I didnt like the flavor of that either. Guess this place just isnt my cup of tea. But I do like the counter service honey chicken we have gotten before. Go figure?"

Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp - skirt steak, tempura-battered shrimp, jasmine rice, stir-fried vegetables, chili plum dipping sauce $25.99

"And DD2 got the bourbon chicken and ate it all. She really like hers."

Bourbon Chicken - Tempura chicken, carrots, green onions, sweet bourbon sauce $17.99

"Then for dessert we shared the Mango pie and Cheesecake. DD1 loved the pie."

Mango Pie - shortbread cookie crust, fresh whipped cream, raspberry sauce $6.99

New York Cheesecake - New York cheesecake, mango and strawberry coulis, and fresh whipped cream $6.99

"If I could go back for just the drink, green beans and dessert I would probably be ok. So this was the worst meal, to me, the entire trip. Cant say I would hurry to go back"

Just wanted to say thank you for everyone for the well wishes for Corey! He came home this morning and is just going to be laying low for a few days. Doctor said she was surprised how bad the appendix was because he just started to feel the pain. Good thing it is gone!!!
