We are going to a convention this summer that is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. We are a family of 5 and this hotel does not have rooms that will accomodate 5 and it is very expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions of other hotels within a short driving distance that will accomodate us comfortably, possibly in connecting rooms? We would also like a complimentary breakfast.

Look on ebay for folks that are renting their timeshare at the Wyndham in Nashville. They are located 5 minutes from the Gaylord and they have 1-2 bedrooms. It is a nice resort we have stayed there and enjoyed it. They were in that big flood a few years ago so they got total make over and the resort is so nice. We were there 2 years ago the day after they reopened after the flood and enjoyed our stay and plan to go back. Plus you get a full kitchen in most of the rooms and a washer dryer

If this does not work for you try Baymont Inn and Suites they sleep 5

we have a timeshare and stayed at the Wyndham Nashville several years ago. Great resort and they do have suites with 2 bedrooms.

Several pools and activities for kids. Pretty close to downtown Nashville!

We stay at the Holiday Inn Airport location on Briley Pkwy. About a 10 minute drive to Gaylord. You'll have to pay to park at Gaylord. No idea on large rooms at HI though.

The Wyndham resort looks like a great option. I have never bought anything through ebay. Any other suggestions of reputable places to look for rentals of this resort? Thanks!

You can easily avoid paying to park at the hotel by parking at Opry Mills and taking the sidewalk (very short walk). Park in the VERY back of the movie theater parking lot.

We have walked from the mall thru the walkway too to save the $25 parking fee. We have also stayed there before. Its our family Christmas tradition. Its amazing hotel resort. Christmas time is the best time to visit!:)

True, plus it'll probably take less time to walk over than it would to find a parking spot at Gaylord :lmao:
