:goodvibes:thumbsup2. I'm glad you all enjoyed :)

Rumors have it that the GF rooms are going to get a refurb after the Poly rooms are complete and they are in the middle of construction over there now.

I was completely unaware of the Poly refurb - had to go check it out on Steve's site. Thanks for the update!

I would call again. We booked an ADR for the tea room at 180 days out....I would hate to see someone miss out if a phone CM misinformed them! I have only seen the 30-60 days for the Dessert Party during wishes....

I second this.

Thanks for the welcome back. I don't blame you, it's hard to pass up a chance at the GF. Hawaii at the Poly is a pretty good choice, though.:beach:

I noticed your signature - congrats!:cheer2: My sister was declared cancer-free last year, next month will be her 6th year. Love and best wishes for your 20th anniversary, so close!:cloud9:

:goodvibes, It was worth it for the lovely view we had :magnify::cloud9:
Oh I bet pixiedust:

Aww, thanks.:goodvibes I've been busy, but along with it I had a hard time logging on due to no visits scheduled for this year. Worried I'd get the urge and book something, no matter if we couldn't go.

Which leads to my news - booked a trip for next month!:cool1::cool1: So, I'm right there with everyone else, crossing my fingers the pool is open soon.
Oh my dear friend, I COMPLETELY get it! Luckily we will be there August (barring changes) however, Angel Sarah wants us to be there :goodvibes And DH is getting a US/IoA trip next week so I get my WDW trip in Summer pixiedust:

So... is the courtyard pool open yet? Want to book for april 13-15 but I am not sure I want to- for $500 a night I can only handle so many blue walls...

pas, I'm glad you and your DH are able to each get your wish.:goodvibes We are doing another WDW/US split next month, before our US APs run out.;)

Can't wait to be walking around the GF grounds, I know I'll be thinking of Sarah and her love of the Grand.

The recent reports were the courtyard pool would be opened on March 31, but I got a message from IPO yesterday that said April 1. I hope either one is right.:thumbsup2

What is IPO?

Second page?! We can't have that...

Happy Easter Weekend! I took these last April in the GF lobby:

KOOK Omg Beautiful! Guess where I want to be right now ;)

Happy Easter!

Ok so maybe I'm totally crazy! I just cancelled our stay at the swan (which would have been "free" on credit card points...) and switched to the Grand Floridian garden view instead! It's only two nights, but I can finally experience a few new things:

Our first stay at Disney in only Disney resorts (previously have stayed at bonnet creek- once did a split stay bonnet creek and wilderness lodge).

Our first stay at the Grand Floridian!

Our first stay at a monorail resort!

Our first stay at boardwalk inn (after 2 nights at the grand we are switching to a boardwalk view room for the next 5 nights)!

Our first time trying narcoossee's (previously have done citricos and 1900 park fare, as well as afternoon tea)

Our first time swimming in a Disney World pool.

April 13-15 can't come soon enough!!!

Just one question- the online check in asked me what building I'd like to request....... I'm thinking Boca Chica? I don't want a view of construction- I'd prefer a view of the courtyard pool..

Love the photos, KOOK! I thought last week how fun it would be to see the Easter eggs, if only there were some way to do so while skipping the Easter crowds. Thanks for making my wish come true.;)

WDWOswald - congrats on booking your first GF stay, and so soon!!:cool1::cool1:

Boca Chica is a very nice building for garden views. I'll post a couple photos of our view from Boca we took during our stay last August. I love Conch Key for its wonderful location - close to boat dock, courtyard pool and Narcoossee's, and a quick walk out the back door to Gasparilla's or the marina.

Sago Cay is a nice, quiet location, close to Gasparilla's and the back walkway to the bus stop. A little farther from the pools, but that has been a plus during the courtyard construction. Hopefully, the courtyard pool will be open in a few days.:thumbsup2

This is a garden view room, 3rd floor, Boca Chica. You can see the main building, courtyard pool, Sugar Loaf:

Unless the pool is open in the next day or two... I would request either Sago or Conch Key marina view.
