If your attitude about it is "fun", Gracie will likely feel the same way. We try to make the whole experience fun, even security - our kids love to take their shoes off even though they don't have to now. Our kids' favorite parts are "snack time" and movie time (we have come to our IPad) on the airplane. Good luck.
Welcome John and Liz! I love your idea of the last minute Disney cruise! I've added y'all to the roll call, which I'll post next week.
We are parking at Premier Parking of Miami (which is different from Premier Parking Ventures). It is a gated garage that provides free shuttle transportation for up to four people per vehicle. You can either book online through a third party (Global Airport Parking - which accepts credit card) or call them directly to make a reservation and pay in cash upon arrival. They will send you an email with your confirmation, street address, and directions to the garage. We called and received our conf. email the next day. Based on reviews, this is one of the better off-site parking options. For the cruise, it will be $40 including taxes.

Looking forward to meeting you at one or both of our cruise meets!

I forgot to mention that hubby is celebrating his birthday on April 8 too. Nice birthday present!
We reserved with Premier, so thanks for the tip! Called DCL and apparently we have booked so late that they will not be mailing us luggage tags. The reservation agent said we had to lug our luggage on board ourselves! No curbside bag drop for us. That really surprises me. Liz
11 DAYS until we board the Mickey Boat!
11 days and counting!
The countdown continues.......
10 days and counting......
Since we've been to Grand Cayman before and experience Stingray City - we've decided to do just the regular Island tour which is about 2 hrs. This will then allow for more shopping time in Georgetown!
As for Cozumel, it's been a while since we were last there, so we booked the Jeep Exploration tour. Looking forward to seeing the island!
What's everyone else planning on doing?
I'm pretty sure that my other last minute cruise, they allowed me to fill out tags at the curbside - but that was as PC, the rules may be different in MIA.
DH's birthday is today, and my twins' birthday is 4/7. So, we'll be celebrating a few birthdays, too.
I'm totally in the Little Engine That Could mode. I have so much to do this week - some cruise related, some not, but all must be done by Friday night, regardless. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!!!!
My oldest is petitioning us to be allowed to try Edge - he's really really over the club/lab. Anyone else with a sporty 10/11 yo boy planning on doing the Edge?
