We are currently booked at POR for 3 nights the weekend after Easter...convince me to switch for about $500 more...or not. Anyone think it's worth it? We plan parks Sat, Sun and leave for early pm flight Monday. Family of 2 A 3 kids

Thanks for input:thumbsup2

For that short amount of time being conveniently located between two parks sounds like a win to me.... GO FOR IT!!!

I would always choose more time at Disney, no matter where I stayed. But CL or no CL, you at at a wonderful location either way.

If you can afford it, I say go for it. Since it's a short trip, the convenience of being able to walk to two parks can't be beat.

I think it depends on the ages of your kids. A family of 5 in a POR room is going to be cozy. The extra space alone may be worth the switch. And I agree that being able to walk to 2 parks makes a big difference for a short trip.

I would go for it! POR is nice but its not BC/YC. You get so much more. For us it's worth the $$

My first two trips to the Epcot resorts were BWV and BC. On the third trip I was trying to book BC again but it was not available. The CM at CRO talked me in to trying YC and I've been returning there since. I've still had a few return trips to BC and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again but if I have my first choice, it's YC. I just love it there!! I like the theming of the rooms better, the views and the proximity to the marina and bus stop. I hope you like it as much as I do. :). The resorts share so much that you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks for replying. I know I'm just being silly and that we'll have a wonderful time.

Not being silly at all. That's what we're all here for. We all want reassurance now and then that something we've put so much effort in is going to work out like we want. This group definitely knows how you feel!! We love adding new members to our group who love all things Disney, especially YC/BC!!

Leaving BCV now. Now headed out on a back to back cruise on the Dream. I did get a couple more photos pd the solarium I will post after the cruise. I verified there are gallon jugs of water available in the marketplace. Photo will follow. Price is $2.95. Unfortunately did not make it into the lobby restrooms. Sorry for that.

I'll try to catch up again in a week. But I'm not sure ill be able to get through the 50 more pages you all are sure to put up between now and then.

Later!

Are there any good snack credit options at the Beach Club?

:welcome: to the BC/YC FAQ thread!
I believe you can get an ice cream cone or a float/milkshake from the Beaches & Cream takeout window for a snack credit.

At the Marketplace, I think you can get the bakery items (muffins, croissants, cookies, seven layer bars, etc) or frozen treats like Mickey Bars or packaged gelato. There are also bags of Mickey/Disney candy, chips, and other snacks like you find at other gift shops throughout Disney.

Does anyone know if you can use a snack credit to get Oreo Bon Bons at the Marketplace?

Thanks so much!!!

Wishing you smooth sailing and amazing weather!

Thank you for all the info! It is so helpful!
I also wanted to share an iPhone app I use.... Is called "countdown to my next WDW vacation"
I think it costs $.99 and you can customize it to the dates of your vacation.... You can even choose a random team and new pictures will pop up every day Of Disney World. It send me an alert every morning tell me how many days till our next vacation! The number of days!! is also on the home screen of my iPhone

Awesome, thanks!

I am considering photo pass+ so I can be in some pics for once instead of watching my vacation thru a camera lens like usual.:3dglasses
My question is....I got a new iMac for Christmas this year that doesn't have a cd/DVD drive. :confused3 So are the images from the photo pass+ only on cd or can I download them to my Mac some other way? Not sure it's worth it if only on CD since I can't load them onto my computer that way. I haven't idea why the apple "genius" told my DH I wouldn't need a cd drive on my computer!?

You have the option of receiving a CD rom or a download of your photos. :)
