For those that didn't see Pete's post on FB, there is a special podcast segment recording happening on Wednesday (3/27) at 8:00 pm. The topic is "Travel Tech" and Mike (K5JMH here on the DIS) is co-host.

Who's got questions?

I would like to hear about portable iPhone rechargers. I know Corey has a favorite - but he hasn't said which one he uses.

Can Mike discuss the best way to take pictures with an iPad in the parks?

Crap...we have a NJ DIS Meet planning meeting then. The one time I can watch! Argh!

I'd like to hear him talk about European power cords and adapters and transformers.

Preferably a separate discussion for each country.

Without also discussing the power outlets on a train? Meaningless, utterly meaningless. :moped:

Hi Nikki. Wondering if is too late for the Jersey meet. Dd and I are trying to make it happen schedule wise. Never been to one and would love to at least make fri. & SAT. Your plans sound wonderful and for such an awesome cause. Thanks.

Not at all! Registration ends April 1! You can sign up using the link below in my signature. I hope to see you!

I would love to hear more about how Corey uses his iphone with his DSLR, what does it exactly do?

How about some tips on packing the "technology bag"? Here are a couple that I try to follow:

  • Put the most needed things on top or in a side pocket. Things like the charger(s) for your phone/camera/computer/whatever.
  • Use the same location for your stuff every time so you know just were to look for them.
