Wife already had you put us on the August list for going, my question is if the concierge room deluxe rooms or all standard size... Just curious as we are seriously looking to up grade soon for the adult children that will be accompanying us..

Jack

The club level rooms are standard size. The DVC club level rooms are larger deluxe rooms.

You can buy them in the Mara anytime....

I knew that but was hoping they would also be at Boma breakfast as I'd read they were on the buffet but didn't even think about the fact that they would be on dinner, not breakfast. Whoops! Oh well! Off to Mara we go :)

Just buy the flights. You can figure the details out later :thumbsup2 The big question - which is more important - a trip to WDW at all, or AKV/L during the trip?

ASM/Pop are lovely resorts - and such a fun feel. If the money is that stressful, then just book the trip for what you can afford and AK will come later. Otherwise just bite the bullet, book the trip you want, and find the money later (This is the course we always take and somehow we always find 5G somewhere).

....keep this going....don't think I'm gonna be on the DIS for a while....

We would like to add on a couple of nights to the end of our vacation to relax at AKL before heading home.

Was curious if anyone who owns DVC would be able to tell me if any studios are left for July 10-13 (3 nights) or even just the first 2 nights.

If not, guess we will need to see what type of summer discounts are available for regular resort rooms.

Appreciate any help anyone can provide.

All three nights are open at Jambo - Standard View and Kidani, Savanna and Standard view

I also have points if you need them..

I have a dream....and it is called a "Grand Villa"....anyone ever stayed in one at AKL or BLT? I think I am going to save like crazy and treat the family to one in a few years. Is there any hope of finding someone who has that many points to rent? My parents took me so many times as a kid (annually) and still refuse to ever let us pay for a meal or anything for them that it would be nice to get an amazing room!!! But my kids are 1 and 3 so much too young to enjoy it....but maybe in a couple of years!......:worship:

Im thinking about heading down for a few days (6/26-7/1 or 7/2 depending in flights) and was looking off property. But that sounds not good as my DS would say. How do I figure out the number of points needed if I want to rent DVC? I searched the dVC forum but can't find it and am scared to ask---I've been bashed before over there.
I miss AKL. Can't wait to go back, and October is too far away.

It depends on where you want to stay, what days you want to stay, what type of room and what view.

Give me more info and I can help

I was just looking for a link Brandi--- thanks so much!!! 6/26-7/2. Prefer AKV, don't know the views, I'd prefer a 1 bedroom ( don't think we fit in a studio).

I would personally like for Megan and Brandi to be my personal travel agents! Ha! You girls ROCK!!!!:thumbsup2

Agreed!

Thank you both so much for the super quick response.

I do appreciate it ... and what a great first experience on this thread.

That's so sweet! Thank you so much! Just trying to be a helpful Diser.

These are the points charts for DVC. It lists point values per resort, view, and season (check your dates...you would be in Magic season with those dates). Be aware that at this time, there are some things that would definitely be unavailable (club level and value at AKV, some views at BLT, etc.).
