I told u guys last month how our extended family trip was being postponed as my sister in law just found out she was pregnant & due shortly after our trip. I was so sad & disappointed. Well yesterday my mom told me its probably on hold until spring, I was so bummed last night. So today's my birthday, and my DH said that he wants to go this year hopefully oct/nov/dec time frame! I was so excited he said this. He knew how sad I've been about it, and just the hope on the horizon has just really perked me up! just had to share with a great bunch of people who "get it!"

Anyone here buy photopass+ in advance? I ordered it and the voucher showed up yesterday indicating that I need to bring it to a photopass center at one of the parks or at downtown Disney. Anyone know if it can also be redeemed at BC Marketplace?

Check your package. With the voucher, on the back of one of the sheets, I think there is a list of locations. When we went, I don't think BC was on the list. It may have changed. We got ours in Epcot. It was towards the front of the park.

We are staying at the Beach Club Club Level right now and the safe does not fit our laptop or iPad. Hope this helps.

Wow, that's got to be one tiny safe! What did you do with your electronics while you were out of the room?

We have a kindle, iPad, and a Nexus tablet that we will likely want to bring with us, but I wouldn't want to leave them unattended. Is it easy to have the front desk or concierge store it for you?

Ok, quick and odd question. The last time we were at Disney, we stopped by the Beach Club, and while I thought it was awesome, we could not get past the fishy smell coming from the clambake (I'm assuming thats what it was)... Anyways... Is it always like that? Love the resort, the location...
Give me a million more good reasons to stay there vs GF- which we loved!!! we have 2 kids ages 11 and 7! The pool is so cool!!!

Wow that is crazy. We stayed@akv in August and it fit a 15" MacBook, 2 iPads, wallets ect. I hope I can expect the same safe.

The BC Marketplace was on the list of places you can redeem the voucher.

Thanks. It was not on the list on my voucher. Only the parks and downtown disney. I emailed photopass support and they confirmed this morning that it can be redeemed at the Marketplace between 5pm and 9pm.

The only time we've had a negative experience with that smell was when walking by during dinner hours, either returning from the pool or walking to dinner over on the Yacht Club side.

And even then, we didn't have to walk by as you can always choose to walk outside instead of through the corridors.

The smell should not be an issue anywhere near your room although I would guess some of the second floor rooms might be an issue as there is an open area nearby. We've never stayed on that floor. Could always request away from Cape May Cafe or 4th floor or something like that.

We love the BC as have our kids for the past 4 years since they were 9 & 7. They love the pool, playing in the sand, the activities, the staff, the walk to Epcot, Beach & Cream ice cream, the game room.

You'll never know if it is for your unless you try...hope you enjoy a stay there!

We will be arriving earlier than DD. We are CL at YC. We will be staying in the same room. Can I leave a message at the desk to give DD her key so that she can go to the room with her luggage or do we have to be there with her? Her name is on the reservation too.

We are AP holders so only thing on the card would be to get into the room.

According to photopass + Facebook, the BC marketplace is on the list. I have never actually redeemed there myself. I will be hoping to for the first time in August. Has anyone actually redeemed there?

Oh ... and I guess I forgot the most obvious solution ... stay at the Yacht Club!

We like the BC side but wouldn't hesitate to stay at YC.

I understand about that making a not so good impression on your DH! Mine would probably be the same way if that had been our first route in to the resort.

My DH and I have arrived at separate times and he has never had a problem. If she isl listed on the reservation they will ask for ID and issue her a key. That is what they have done for my DH
