No, no, no. The sitting by the pool, cocktail in hand, enjoying 80 degree weather CJ. :thumbsup2

Agreed.

Say it ain't so!:headache::mad::sad2: Not sure I can handle two CJ's. There's still time to choose another role model.

Maybe we can select whoever has the most DVC points?

I have read that they've eliminated the MK Extra Magic Hours on Fridays in the summer. :crazy2: We were looking forward to the "Marathon Day" Open-Close we had planned. At least I suspect we'll only lose an hour or so of actual park time though.

We did the commando marathon Epcot day last year - 8:00 AM Akershus Breakfast to Midnight. Everyone was tired, but it was fun.

I agree. Around here, we had a school cancels honors night for those students that achieve the goal. New principal felt it made the other kids feel bad since they were not invited. REALLY? How about you buck up, study harder and earn your way in? Nope, we'll just make sure those achieving are punished. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take..

Just preparing them for the real world - honor mediocrity - and don't reward exceptional employees.

Or, they could teach them another lesson - lock the classroom doors and tell them their educational opportunities have been outsourced to China.

Ya’ know… **hack – cough**
You could be on to something there. **hack – wheeze**
At least, that is… **cough – cough**
Assuming that I worked for actual humans.

I rarely fake call in sick. I'm afraid I would actually get sick. Glad to hear you are not the only one working for non-humans, or at least humans with no common sense or abilities.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. My neck is still a little stiff. I'm going to try and get into the bone cracker tomorrow. But I've switched from Vicodin to Advil.
Holy crap dude...just glad you're OK:thumbsup2

Save the E-ticket rides for Disney!:drive:
:lmao::lmao: Space Mountain would be excitement enough for me.

BTW Corey, I think you win the MAN Award for the week!

You rolled your truck, drag yourself out of it, stand up, and whip out your phone and start snapping pictures of it!

Just wondering, you didn't happen to say just before it happen "Hey, ya'll, watch this!"
:lmao::lmao:
Just before it happened I was thinking "Only 5 miles to home." This was on a wide open stretch of road that had snow blowing across it all day. I hit a bad patch and couldn't recover.

My wife took the pics. She was in the car in front of me and saw it all happen in her rear view mirror. Some good Samaritans got me out and to the hospital.

Or was it "OH $%*@!!!!!!!!!"?
::yes::::yes::::yes::

I was thinking of doing a smart a$$ post, but thought I would just do a plea instead. Aaron is trying to get Group rates for the DDCC 2 like he did in January, (which were every good). This poll is just seeing who is thinking about going and were they would be staying to give him an idea if he can get Group Rates.

I voted.

But if you show them a baggie of hemp, they'll rattle off 15 different uses...

Bag of hemp - no. Bag of ....

Thanks guys for the wishes about the shoulder. It feels a little better today. Norm, it does suck about not diving. Soon it will be prime diving weather.

You can always fund me, and I will start diving. Aaron has more clearly, but basically the January date provides a solid time that many Dis Dads can be there. With June, since there is no major event and school calendars vary, it may not get the numbers. I am disappointed that I cannot be there, but I also think it is better to keep this annual convention going as I know that I will be able to attend at some point in the hopefully near future. 10 more years until I am eligible for parole, er um, retirement.

Last day at the office today before we head to Maui. I hear they have a restaurant that let's you sit down at a table less than 2 hours after you check in there... will have to see if its any good.

Have a great trip. I'm about to head downstairs to the lobby of the hotel here and get my groove on with $.50 cent beers. What another crappy day.

16 hours at Epcot. That's enough time to ride Ellen's Energy Adventure like 3 times.

Somebody needs to make the principal watch the incredible and write out what he learned.

Why? I've never had Vicodin, but had Percocet when my wisdom teeth were cut out. That was wonderful. I've still got some Lortab left over from my last back thing.

Bag of hemp - no. Bag of ....

Bag of Vicodin. :thumbsup2

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

Somehow, I missed that ride our first 7 trips to WDW. It would have been a great place to nap with the dds when they were younger.

DW and MIL decided to go to the casino. They both left their iPads. I get to watch the Minnesota Detroit game without fighting the kids fit the remote.

Winning!

Evening guys. Hope everyone is doing good. Spring can't get here soon enough.

Had an eventful couple of days. Yesterday I took DS into Minneapolis for his semiannual audiology appointment. We had blizzard like conditions overnight but it wasn't bad in the morning. We picked up DW and were on our way home. She had the van and I had to old Explorer. Just north of town there was an open stretch of road that was iced over. I hit a patch and lost control. I would up in the ditch and rolled the Explorer. I was wearing my seat belt and was fine. I went to the ER anyways to get checked out. I'm doing good except for a sore neck and back. The Explorer is totaled. Unfortionatly we only had the bare minimum coverage so all we'll get out of it is what the junk yard will buy it for. Still can't complain, I walked away in one piece.

Dude... lucky to be alive.

Glad it wasn't worse.

Haven't had a chance to read through the boards over the past 2 days. I'll get caught up in a bit. My being under the weather transformed into a day off work(Monday), an attempt to go to work with me coming home before noon b\c my daughter was sick (Tuesday), to me working from home and then fetching my daughter from school after she had a fever at lunch (today). Now no school tomorrow for her b\c she has to be fever free for 24 hours. At least DW is off tomorrow so I can escape this black plague that is in my house!:crazy2:

Wow. Glad you survived that. I guess your 'bat turn- roll the truck- and walk away from it" post trumps my 'I have the sniffles' post. The insurance part sucks, but say your prayers that you got out of there relatively unscathed.

Hey, we just happen to have an 8:20 breakfast reservation on 8/23 at..........wait for it..........wait for it.........Yup......The Tusker House! :cool1: I hope you are OK with me looking for the birthday boy and presenting you with a happy birthday in person.

That is too funny. I was planning on meeting up sometime during our trips. It was nice of you to arrange to be at my birthday meal....:rotfl:
Just remember your DS(12)pirate: is not allowed to speak to my DD(12)princess:
LOL.
Look forward to seeing you there.

I hate those whole house bugs. Seems like as soon as one of you gets done the next one starts. And with kids you miss 2 days work. Hope everyone gets better soon.

Could have been a lot worse. I was doing about 30 when it happened. A gust of wind pushed me onto a bare ice patch and I couldn't recover.

I know the weather gets extreme here in Texas, but when the wind pushes you into black ice and flips you in March it may be time to look into moving south of the arctic circle :rotfl: Glad you came out alright.

Always remember, The wheels go down. ::yes::

Glad to hear that you're OK :thumbsup2

Quick sports update (notice I said quick, not timely...)
@Norm - Robert Morris beat Kentucky in the first round of NIT.
@Randall - Ed Reed signed with the Texans
@thosewhohatethenameofthisthread - The Penguins have won 10 straight.

That is all for tonight. Good night, God bless and may everyone have happy bdays, great days at work and be on the mend!:cool1:
