Confirmed my reservations for Tusker house breakfast on 8/23. at 8:30am Whooo hoo.
We are not planning any sit down meals for most of our park days but since it's gonna be my birthday meal and we will get into the park before rope drop DW said ok.
DW wants to do the Luau at the Poly, is it worth the cost? They do have bottomless beer so we will need a cab too if we do it. lol.

Went to the vending machine today. Not the one close to me with all the healthy stuff- I had to go to the other end of the building to get a butterfinger. After putting in my $.95, I press the buttons, the thing spins, and nothing comes out. It turns out there wasn't a butterfinger in the "ready to be dispensed" position. There was an empty spot and then my butterfinger. Stupid, rookie mistake.

This would have been the rookie mistake. :lmao:

Well now! Steve just earned himself a dole whip! They called me back and can get me in a week from today at 8:15 am. That shaves 15 days off of my wait time. Well done, sir. Next time we're at WDW together your first dole whip is on me (bacon optional).

That is fantastic news!!! The getting you in sooner I mean :rotfl2: The dole whips is the icing on the cake! :lmao: I had been praying for them to call you and get you in sooner. I am thankful that they did!! Waiting to have a procedure done and get the results back is one of the hardest things a patient and their family has to do! Now, I will begin to pray in earnest for them to find out the issue and get it back on track!!! And you to get back to running!!!

Dinner is at 7:20 for us. We can toss one (or two) back anytime before then.

Thanks. Turned down the cortisone but probably should have taken it. One of the reasons he said surgery isn't necessary yet is because I have full use of the arm. It just hurts.

Another reason he wasn't knife happy. I will be watching NCIS tonight.

Oh yeah, it's on NCIS LA...

I still had full use of my arm when they cut me up. But my problem was rotator cuff and labrum. Recovery took a long time.

Pictures normally don't make me genuinely laugh. This one did.

Thanks! DW has noticed how grumpy I am and wants to get me running too. Although I'm not sure if that's to cheer me up or to just get me away from her!

...you live in Boston!

Yep. And luckily for me, you don't. :thumbsup2

My kids are still upset they didn't get a single snow day this year. We'd take it off your hands for their sake.

All yours!

Haven't done it in a long time, but enjoyed it years ago. And the bottomless beer is reason enough to go for it!

The Butterfinger spot in our vending machine was also short one butterfinger. I wasn't going to buy one, but I just happened to notice that.

And... yeah... I got nothing.

Tuesday killer 14 hour workday ownage.

So, anyone remember about that screwed up project that my coworker didn't do and tried to throw me under the bus? Well, I didn't make it under the bus, but I ended up having to do their work. So, today started at 7:00 AM and just finished with an email about 15 minutes ago, sending the corrected product. I am just so happy I get to do everyone else's work and they still get to be paid. The bad news is that I don't get any extra OT. The good news is that I think I'll take an extra week off work next month. Rant ended.

Hi guys. Just popping in to say hi.

Once I tools them what it was and asked what we can make with wheat they still couldn't tell me anything other than whole wheat bread. I usually enjoy teaching these kids and interacting with them, but today I felt like I needed 2 hours, not 20 minutes with each group. It was really depressing.

I don't have groups of kids, but groups of adults like that from time to time. I worry about the future of the world.

D'oh. You didn't get to lay a finger on your butterfinger.

Excellent to be in before RD. You exit right at KS and can be first on ride while you watch the herd running for you. As for the SOA at Poly, we liked it better than HDDR. It is just Bud Light, so not that exciting. However, it was a great Hula dancing show and the fire dancer guy was amazing. It is quite expensive though, but consider it as the main event. Depending on how many park tickets you are buying, you may consider just skipping the park that day, going to SOA, and then hanging on the beach at the Poly to watch the MK fireworks. The SOA show was a little over 2 hours.

We had 9.3 inches this morning according to measuring stick. :headache::mad: This morning I heard another storm is coming Thursday. Supposed to stay south with maybe some rain/snow, but hopefully it misses us.:

Spring is just a few days away. It will all clear up (or at least stay north and not fall here).

Forget the previous statement....go get the surgery..:lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

Just got home, I kinda made an error with the bus schedule, had to get Dad to come and get me, missed last bus by 5 minutes, no alternate buses, and even the GO train stopped running, (I live right on the line) Spent almost an hour in the rain, will do wonders for my cold :rotfl2:

Hate to hear that. Keep well.

I choose to focus on the happiness of my son's birth over the beginning of a War on this particular day.
!)

Happy Birthday to DS and I completely agree. Focus on the happiness.

Today is a pretty big day for us as our twins and youngest (Claire princess: and Cloie princess:), turn 9... It's been a crazy 9 years and the twins have defiantly made things interesting. These two have really turned up the love of all things Disney and helped this family get even more involved!

Good to hear from you again. Happy Birthday to your dds.

Morning guys. Woke up to about 4-5 inches of snow. i'm done with winter. ;)

Spring is just a few days away. It will all clear up (or at least stay north and not fall here). It's like deja vu all over again.

Howdy, we are good here, hate that I haven't been on the boards alot but been trying to get DD and myself a house, it's tricky when your looking around 100k and you don't want your DD playing in the backyard next to barking pitbulls (seriously 2 great houses I had to look away from because of chained up pitbulls next door and little to no fence) but we will keep on looking

100K will get you a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house in Owensboro, KY in the subdivision where I live. No, it doesn't have pit bulls, just an incarcerated on Federal trafficking meth dealer.

Just goes to prove that Disney knows everything!

A great t-shirt idea. Oops, there's an email from .....

Life is not all bad. Just got an email from DVC that the waitlist for Kidani came through today. Did not really want to stay at SSR so there is much rejoicing in Miami. Still hoping that the BW waitlist gets approved but I can't complain.

Congrats. I wanted Kidani 1 BR for the 2 BA. The DW and dds wanted OKW for the boat ride to DTD. The majority won (and so did I).

Thanks guys. I hope I quoted everybody. There are two boys and two girls in the group. The ages are 8,7,5 and 3. So by the time we get them home I will have children whose ages are 9,8,8,8,6 and 4!

That is really amazing stuff there David. My continued prayers. And, i hope you get better soon.

I have not really good news and bad news. Saw the doctor this morning about the shoulder. The verdict? Probably a torn Rotator Cuff. Probable because he would need to confirm it with an MRI which would cost me big bucks. They won’t recommend surgery without the MRI and besides the surgery would cost additional big bucks. I am not really a good candidate for surgery right now anyway. .

Stinks about the diving. But, it could be worse. You could not be a happy camper with my camper parked in your front yard. Prayers for a not as painful rehab. I learned some exercises with my back that provide a great amount of relief.

Just want to sweeten the pot a bit, Spring is just a few hours away officially starting at 7:02 am 3/20/13:cheer2::cheer2::boat::beach::thumbsup2:dancer::jumping1::rainbow::rockband::hourglass:

Evening guys. Hope everyone is doing good. Spring can't get here soon enough.

Had an eventful couple of days. Yesterday I took DS into Minneapolis for his semiannual audiology appointment. We had blizzard like conditions overnight but it wasn't bad in the morning. We picked up DW and were on our way home. She had the van and I had to old Explorer. Just north of town there was an open stretch of road that was iced over. I hit a patch and lost control. I would up in the ditch and rolled the Explorer. I was wearing my seat belt and was fine. I went to the ER anyways to get checked out. I'm doing good except for a sore neck and back. The Explorer is totaled. Unfortionatly we only had the bare minimum coverage so all we'll get out of it is what the junk yard will buy it for. Still can't complain, I walked away in one piece.

Wow that's pretty hairy:scared1:,Glad you were OK:goodvibes

Can you buy it back from the insurance company:confused3, you can make some sweet money on parts:thumbsup2

The closest salvage place is only offering $600 for it. Since we only had liability on it, it is ours. problem is, there are not a lot of places close by to take it. I think the $600 is the best we're going to get.

I have had those co-workers too. Sucks that you dont get paid to fix it though; it will all work out in the end. Or we can off them.. I know people.
Just sayin.

Cool I didn't even think about staying for the fireworks. We are coming in early afternoon Saturday and are not doing our first park day till Monday so I was thinking about trying to get in for the 8pm Saturday show. That still gives us all day Sunday to try and get rested after the drive.

Fine. She's a 2000 with 180K but she has been well maintained. I think the age is what is scaring the salvage guy away. I am not happy about it but there are not a lot of options close by and every day it sits in the lot costs us another $25.

Well since it's in a lot and not at your house, I guess you have to do what you have to do:confused3, if it was at your house I would throw it on Craigslist for like $1200 or BO:confused3

I had a Town Car that I bought rather cheap then got hit in the rear a few years later, it was totaled made a profit , then I bought it back sold it as a parts car on ebay and made another $2200
