Alex: Alex listened to him while explaining the problem and grinned when he finished,"Ohhh, I get it now! Thanks Toby!" She smiled at him thankfully before trying the next problems. Alex looked up when Daniel walked in and waved,"Hey Daniel!"

Toby: "you're welcome, anytime." Toby said smiling. When he saw Daniel walk in he looked up and waved.

River: River practically ran up the stairs to her room. When she made it she pulled the door open quickly expecting the room to be empty. She paused when she saw Max and asked "why aren't you in study hall?" in a non accusatory way. She walked to her suitcase and dug through it.

Toby: "you're welcome, anytime." Toby said smiling. When he saw Daniel walk in he looked up and waved.

Alex: Alex continued to do her math homework and found it easier since she knew what she was supposed to do. She finished the worksheet quickly and grinned triumphantly, then took out the notes and a blank piece of paper. "I don't ever want to miss classes again. I hate notes taking them in class, and even more when I'm not." She said writing down the writing on the paper.

River: River walked up to Daniel and handed him the book. It was written in a small bound book and had an elaborately hand painted castle covering the cover. "It might be strange, but I don't want to be sitting right next to you when you read it" she said shrugging and slightly embarrassed "I don't want to be looking for reactions or changes in expression or any of that."

Alex: Alex chuckled and smiled,"Right I forgot how parents can act to bad grades. I never got bad grades just because I didn't like the feeling of failing."

Jack: Jack rolled his eyes hearing them and resists the urge to say something to the girl. He already said some things to her before and thought that was enough for today.

Margo: Margo was to focused on her math for chatting. She had never been a good multitasker. She said "hi" to both Daniel and River as they walked in, but not much else. She finished up right as they were talking about grades. "My mom doesn't really care what grades I get." She seemed cool on the outside, but on the inside this made Margo cringe. Her mom didn't care much about anything.

Nate: "Really? My parents would get so mad if I got and F. I'd never see daylight again."

River: River could feel her stomach churn. He didn't know why she felt so nervous. She knew Daniel wouldn't hurt her, but she was still worried. River walked over and joined the other students.

Toby: Toby smiled, he didn't know why it bothered him for people to know how smart he was, but for some reason he didn't want everyone to know. He knew he could get straight A's if he applied himself, but he rarely took time on homework, and often didn't pay full attention in class.

Alex: Alex sighed and fixed her long hair from a bun to a messy ponytail getting a slight headache from the bun against her head. She smiled looking at Toby and began to hum happily to herself, looking at her hands.

Amelia: Amelia sat in a corner of the library. She had her math sheet in front of her, but none of it made any sense. Amelia hadn't done math since the first grade, and this was high school math. She didn't even have any idea what she was looking at. She didn't know what the professor would say when she handed back her sheet completely blank.
After staring at the numbers for a while, Amelia started listening to the conversations of her classmates.
