Show Me the Cupcakes!!!

I guess I was kidding myself when I thought I could stay on weight watchers while at the world. I want a white chocolate elephant.

The strawberry cupcake at BOG was to die for, it was SO delicious. I almost wanted to go back the next day and just order a bunch of them and have that for lunch!!

That's so funny - I didn't like that one at all. :confused3 Thought the flavoring had too much of an artificial flavor and aftertaste. Thinking next time I'll try one of the puffs instead. The triple chocolate cupcake was good though.

All of these photos and suggestions has just bumped up my snack $ and calorie allotment. Calories consumed on Disney property don't count, right?

Ok, what are everyone's thoughts on which is the absolute "best" cupcake in WDW? On our last trip this past January, my DH had the butterfinger(which he loved!) and I bought a cappuccino one from Pizza Planet that i was too full to eat, saved it for later and then never ate it:sad2: So, for my upcoming trip in August, I want to try again.

My favorite flavor is Chocolate and I love coffee, which is why I thought the cappuccino would be yummy, so maybe I'll give it another try. Any other suggestions for a chocolate lover? I prefer the lighter, whipped frosting as opposed to thick and fudgey, Thanks!!

Watch, it'll be so hot in August, that I'll only be eating frozen treats and miss my cupcake once more:rotfl:

Absolutely right! Calories consumed at Disney, stay at Disney! (hmm - think I will put that on a t-shirt)

This is a really fun thread and I have been subscribed forever. Wondering if anyone else had my experience. After drooling for months over cupcakes and planning which ones I was going to try...got there last May and just didn't want any! I did end up eating my son's leftover chocolate peanut butter Darth Vader cupcake and it was to-die-for! Now, the year before...before the thread...I did have two, maybe three cupcakes. It's just so strange to me that I was never in the mood for one after all the looking forward to them because of this thread!:confused3

I do think part of the problem is that it was hot in May and I am never as hungry when it's hot...more interested in cold drinks and fruit!

Back from another vacation at WDW and once again I had no room to try even one cupcake (after drooling over pics for almost another year). It's pointless...I did have some room, however, for some caramel in Germany!:thumbsup2

It might be the butterfinger for me...love that one. :cloud9: The Boardwalk Bakery sometimes has a cappuccino cupcake, and their icing is SO light and amazing.

Did anyone get to try the St. Patrick's Day/Easter cupcakes at Hollywood Studios? I saw they awhile ago on the Disney Parks Blog and they looked adorable (and delish!).

lol...I totally agree with other posters, though. With the heat and all the running around you do at Disney, sometimes it's hard to be in the right mood for a giant cupcake! :confused3

Goodness gracious! Is it bad that I may be looking forward to eating more than hitting the parks? Ugh, I need to be on the treadmill now for all the thoughts that I'm thinking! :)

I really liked the Red Velvet from Starring Rolls.

I'm a big fan of miniatures and I've been thinking about how cool it would be to have miniature figurines of some of Disney's signature cupcakes. :goodvibes
