How do you know you have a bounceback offer?

I didn't really have much of a clue when I wanted to go either, I just figured October would be good since it was about 6 months from the May trip I have planned. I'm hoping my siblings can join me but I've no idea what their college break dates are looking like, so I just booked a random 6-night stay in October. I'll switch the dates around later once I have a better idea of when I'll be going. I've already called and changed my resort twice in the 4 days since I booked the bounceback :rotfl2:

We had never considered booking a bounce back in the past. We usually don't go every year. And I never wanted to commit that far in advance. But after finding the DIS and learning that you can change your dates after you book it, I decided to consider getting the bounce back when we were there in February. So I found out what the dates would be before we left for vacation. We checked our schedules, talked about when and where, and decided to book the bounce back for December. The CM I talked to said that I would not get a better discount than this. :)

I don't think it's a problem to take the bounceback flyer home with you - every person checking in is given a new welcome back with it inside. I actually think if someone left their flyer behind, mousekeeping would throw it out as the cleaned the room. I took mine with me because I wanted to see the dates later when I made changes.

We had nothing left in any of the rooms; our offer was in the booklets given to us at checkin in the folders.

If you stay at Disney towards the end of the year are the bounceback dates extended into the next year? We will be there in November and then again in April, so if there is an offer during our November stay I would like to book for April.;)

Most likely you'd get a Fall bounceback flyer that would extend into the following Spring

They used to always leave the bounceback flyer on the table in the room.
Now it seems they have converted it to be in your welcome booklet.

I just got back from 7 days at Disney, and the bounceback offer was the one a PP mentioned for % off of Deluxe and Moderate resorts.
There was no mention of Value resorts.

The flyer doesn't mention it (sneaky Disney) but if you call, there is a Values discount too, I believe its about 25%. I hoped Values would be included and called to check, and the CM got me set up with a bounceback for Pop in October

Last year the Bounceback for Nov was free DDP for Fall 2013. They didn't switch to the current 2013 offer until early Dec.

We didn't have one in our room last year. But I got the extension before we left and just called it when we arrived. Then I just asked to book the BB promo.

There was no mention of the value resorts on the flyer for the free dining last year either. But they were included. At the end of our stay a flyer finally showed up. But I was able to book pop with free dining.

OOoo!! How far out do the bouncebacks normally go? Like 6 months out? 9 months?? We are going in September and I am hoping the BB offer will be for May we would love to take my oldest to Star Wars weekend but want it to be a short trip since I am not into the crowds:)

In Sept the Bounceback will not likely be May 2014 it will likely be free DDP for fall 2014.

I was at WDW in Nov 2012 and was hoping to book Bounceback for May 2013 but it was still just free dining for the fall. I followed it before I went and after I got home and they didn't switch to other dates until early Dec.

We stayed at AKL 9/12 and were able to book bounceback free dining for this Sept. :cool1:
