WBPC May 6th 2013 Wonder

I have a friend who never, ever, shows anyone she knows her passport or driver's license. Could it be that she doesn't want anyone to know her age?

I am a firm believer in the "60 is the new 40" way of aging.

So, welcome to all those 40-year-olds!

Love being in my 60's! Learnt so much in my life's journey so at this stage, love each year to the max!
And here we all are--about to enjoy a magical Disney cruise-- one that will create more memories to cherish!
Raise a glass to toast the new 40's!:tink:

To the few with who have Beauty and the Beast in their screen name. I met my awesome wife while we worked together at Beauty and the Beast The Broadway Musical here in Los Angeles 1996. I had started in 1995 for the shows opening and she joined on in 1996 for our last 9 months. I won't lie though, after seeing that show for its entire run here in L.A. six to eight times a week, I cringe when I hear the music. I say to myself, ugh it's that music again.

ARE WE there yet?

Welcome Debbie!! So are you from the Outer Banks area?

You ladies sound like prime members of the champagne girls group!

I agree the 60 is the new 40 which makes 70 the new 50!!

So excited; our FEs will arrive today according to tracking info! Hubby also has a home laminator for his work so we made a set of personalized door magnets for us, my M&FIL, and my B&SIL and their kids. The latter group is having an all -day birthday party today (they're all born in March and April) so we're giving them the magnets as a present.

Only if you look older then you are should you worry. I think it would be cool to tell people your 10 yrs older than you are. Then they would say.... You look amazing for you age. Works for me.:)

So in continuing fashion of anytime I take a longer cruise, I have been dealing with medical issues. I know I have cruised with some of you previously.

In 2008 I broke my foot prior to the East Bound Panama canal cruise and traveled with a boot, crutches and wheelchair.

In 2010, I had surgery prior to the Westbound Transatlantic cruise.

I have been having pelvic pain and will be having exploratory laparoscopic surgery on March 22nd prior to this Panama Canal cruise.

Nothing like adding excitement to the pre-cruise planning and anticipation. As long as I get to cruise and have a great trip, I guess it's OK.

Woo Hoo, Under this rule Hubby and I are still in our 20's! :). We just got an upgrade.

Heck it would make me a teenager and I need to be at least 21.

I agree about the positives of being 60 though I still don't like the negatives. I still wish i was younger.:rotfl:

I think the 40th seems the worst age to approach somehow but fear not, life goes on and just gets better.

I hope all is OK. As 'in continuing fashion', we will see you onboard well on your way to recovery!!

I am from the OBX, but we are both non drinkers. : ) If it was a cup cake group, i would be there in a heart beat. : )

For those of you who have been on the PC cruise before, do you recall how much the CD photo package was?

Emailed out an FE update this morning. Please let me know if there are any changes that need made. :goodvibes We're getting so close!

Non Drinkers? No Worries!!! Please feel free to come along to Champagne Girls. Being a CG is a state of mind NOT what you drink. We are NOT doing an official champagne tasting so there's no fee and no need to drink alcohol. All ladies should feel welcome to come and socialize.
