Also, I happened to find a mix pack that included 1" clamps in the jewelry section of my Jo Ann's then bought a small key ring package. Just going to try to make a couple of the keychains, and see how it goes. Thank you!

You are welcome. From what I remember the two cup is pretty much the same (actually easier), the line to cut for opening was straight instead of curved. But I will double check...

Cool that you were able to find hardware at Joann's. What other size clamps were in the pack?

Thank you to all those who sent lanyards. It was a pleasure making keychains and luggage tags for you in return. It was like mailing out my own version of pixie dust.

After making and mailing out quite a few key chains and luggage tags, I took a break from the repurposing project for awhile. As a part of my spring cleaning I am doing several reduce/reuse/recycle/repurpose/reclaim projects. After organizing the lanyards, I decided to sell some keychains, key fobs, zipper pulls on ebay made with the lanyards to recoup some of the cost for materials and postage.

This was a fun project and making these again is reminding me of all the wonderful people here. Thank you for sharing and being a part of a project to help reduce waste. I hope you all are still enjoying your keychains. And to those who are into reducing waste in our world- I even posted the hardware from the lanyards for 99 cents for the buckles and metal clip parts so someone repurpose those. Waste not, want not
