I just sent in my last 2 updates to Barb.
I wanted to say thank you for allowing me to paritcipate in live updates and share my experiences

I had so much fun taking pictures of my fantastic meals to share with all of you. I dined at more signatures this trip and the food was superb.

This was a learning experience for me & with practice I'll get better @ commenting on meals.

I found that being on the Dlx ddp, I had a bunch of snacks left over.
I ate breakfast & dinner everyday (did the signatures for dinner), and wasn't really hungry in between. A few times I did force some snacks...gotta have the deluxe Mickey Ice Cream, Hidden Mickey Rice krispie treat bar, and dole whip.

I did make it a point to try the Dole whip with Rum, Kaki Gori in Epcot, and Lefou's brew from Gaston's tavern. I wanted to try more from the food booths at Epcot but I was just so full I couldnt find any room to put it!

For those on the DDP. The Resort mugs are still the same as last years. I guess they are going to use them until they run out.

I can't wait to look at all of my photopass pics. I took over 350 during my week at Disney.

If anyone ever has questions, please feel free to ask me.

Now I am going to work on planning another trip!
I promised my DS 17, that I would take him for a long weekend this fall so we can attend MNSSHP. It will be our 1st time attending.

Sorry for the delay in getting your final updates posted, Michelle. Tonight my family went to see one of my favorite classic movies on the big screen, Singing in the Rain. Some of you may recall from my last dining report that I like to torture my kids sometimes in the morning by singing the "Good Morning" song to them.

But now it's time for Michelle's update from Magic Kingdom's...

Michelle said, "I had dinner there on Tuesday. I didn't have a reservation but realized I had one meal left on my DDP. I walked in and inquired about having dinner. They were very accommodating and seated me right away. This was right at the beginning of the dinner seating and the restaurant was practically empty.




Here is what Michelle had...

Zucchini Fries - baked seasoned zucchini with creamy sun-dried tomato dressing for dipping



"The zucchini fries were very good along with the dipping sauce provided with them, but I didn't get to enjoy them because my entree was brought out so quickly. Honestly, it was less than 5 minutes from the time they brought my appetizer."

Shrimp Scampi - Linguini with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Asparagus tossed in a Garlic sauce


"This was delicious. There were lots of shrimp and they were a very nice size."

"Lovely picture on the wall above my booth."

"I had Tiramisu for dessert but I was so upset by the pacing of my meal that I forgot to take a picture. As soon as I was seated my server took my drink and appetizer order. She then brought out a bread service and took my entree order. My appetizer was presented within 5 minutes of ordering it. I ate 3 of my zucchini fries and my entree was delivered to the table. It was as if they had the entree already made and waiting to deliver to a customer. I was very disappointed in the timing."



Then Michelle said, "I have one more short snack update for you. I had several snack credits left to use at the end of the week because my meals were so wonderful I just wasn't hungry in the parks between breakfast and dinner. So I picked up a few goodies to bring home with me.

"Also I wanted to share these pictures of me and Snow White. I think she really liked my shirt."

Ha Barb! I remember you sharing that! Your kids should appreciate your humor!

We found the food at Tony's to be brought out too quickly in the past as well. It's like they had them lined up and ready to grab 'n go! Em had the shrimp and pasta as well and really liked it.

Tony's is one of those restaurants that I've always wanted to try, it feels like I've been walking past it for years and I've never got to actually check it out

The location and themeing look wonderful but if there is one thing that I simply can't stand is being rushed through a meal

It's still on my list for a possible lunch visit next time round - Mmm, we'll see

I was just looking through the thread, enjoying everyone elses updates, seeing things I didn't try or wanted to try..LOL

I am missing Disney already!
The week went by so fast.

I feel the same way Linda67, I hate being rushed. I like to enjoy my TS meals at Disney.

I don't know if it's because the restaurants had just opened for dinner?
I experienced the "rush" at Sanaa & Tony's...and both my dinners were when the restaurants were just opening for dinner. Next trip maybe I will try to schedule later dinners...not for restaurant opening times.

I tried alot of restaurants for the first time this trip...Flying Fish, Citricos, Sanaa, Le Cellier, Kona Cafe breakfast (yum)
I was so pleased with FF and Citricos. I really love the dlx DDP.

Hopefully I can do Live updating again when DS17 and I (Oh wait DS will be 18 by then! ) go to WDW for MNSSHP.

Hello everyone! Sorry about the lack of updates today. I spent the day preparing for and then hosting a bridal shower for my nephew's fiancee. The shower was modeled after high tea at the Grand Floridian's Garden View Tea Room with tea sandwiches, fruit & cheese, etc., but for dessert I went with some local favorites.


From "That's So Sweet" in Lexington, IL....

The desserts from the bridal shower you threw look awesome! You always do such an incredible job planning these events (such as the holiday party with a feast inspired by F&W)!

The other updates from tonight are also great. I could definitely see myself enjoying Le Cellier's scallops, a platter at Tangierine Cafe, and a lychee lemonade from Restaurantosaurus (what an interesting drink - I never would have known about it otherwise!).
