Hi I want to take my family to Disney next year and was thinking of going after Easter late April/ may and have a few questions please.

When do flights with ba or virgin get released for these dates and are they the cheapest as soon as they are released?

Is it cheaper to book flights and accommodation separately?

Is it possible to get premium economy ( with ba or virgin) and the poly hotel including park tickets and ddp for 2 weeks for 2 adults for under £6000?

Thanks for your replys.

Flights come out at 11 months from your departure date
They can be cheaper, and also the more flexible you are the better deal you will get.Their is no set rule for prices. Have a figure in mind and when you see it,book it.
DIY is nearly always the cheapest way to book,if you can invest the time to look around for flights.
Under £6000?No,not yet.The Poly is one of the most expensive hotels onsite. You would need to wait until mid April when potentially you will get free dining and maybe other deals, but IMHO PE and two weeks at the Poly is a big ask.Good luck.

DIY will nearly always be your cheapest option.

PE Flights with BA or VA will be in the region of £1000 to £1100 off peak. You may get a sale fare or the prices could go up if you wait. Depends if you want to gamble. Even sales fares are around £900 per person PE.

So you have £2000 for flights, £500 for tickets which leaves £3500 for the Poly plus DDP.

Next years prices are not out yet but for the Poly I would say £3500 will be tight. :rolleyes1

as above..but wanted to ask if you are set on Easter time? This is an expensive time to go and also very busy. You may have a bit more luck with your budget at other times.:)

No I was thinking of after Easter when the crowds have gone.
I want to go low crowds but warm enough for swimming. I hopefully will pull my son out of school so can be quite flexible but also want my parents to come who don't want to go before any time before christmas ie oct nov dec. Parents don't want to spend more than £6000 but want 5 star hotel and pe. I don't mind.

If your set on staying onsite Animal Kingdom Lodge is the cheapest of the deluxe resorts. You also have Beach & Yacht Club and Wilderness Lodge.Anything on the monorail Magic Kingdom area is going to be the most expensive. A lot of the moderate resorts are up there with the 5 star hotels. They might be worth looking at too.

Yeah I really like beach/yacht club but my son has special needs so though poly would be easier to get about with 2 pushchairs as its next to ttc.

How would you get to the mk from beach club? Is it only bus?

You can get the bus or walk through EPCOT and hop on the monorail.
Yacht & Beach Club is ideally placed to walk to EPCOT (about 5 minutes) and Hollywood Studios(about 20 minutes). The Friendship Boat can also take you to HS,also taking a walk around the Boardwalk in the evening is lovely. You have many many dining options all on your doorstep(World Showcase & BW).
