1. Do look back through this thread to find discussion on the very questions you are asking. Yes, I agree the address in this message looks messed up- but it should follow the same formula as the itinterary planning office of the BWK- just sub AKL where it says BWK. You can email them once you make a reservation, but you'll probably get a message from them around the 190 day mark. Having your request ready before the 180 day mark is good, but really, there's only a very few choices that fill up very quickly. You'd probably be fine making your requests when you get back from your cruise, but by all means, set up your reqests berfore you go, so it's done.
3. Perhaps if you ask nicely.
4/5. I don't know if the safari fills up, but you should just add that request to the form they send along with you ADR requests. Most requests will be made via a form they send via email, but they do not want you to give a cc via email. They will likely call you to get a cc number, but you can also call them.
6. hmm..usually if I have another reservation, I let Disney know about it, so they can add a note. Since you will have to change rooms, there's no real big reason to link them, except they can give you a print out of all your ADR's when you initially check in.
7. You'll have to ask. Generally Disney is very good with allergies. They may be able to fufill your requests. They probably will be able to provide her with food that has not been contaminated, but they will not say, remove all tree nuts from the food that other guests can take. (SO you'll have to watch what she takes). I seem to think all CL places erve something like plain bagels, but if you are very worried about cross contamination- then realize, Disney might only offer her products that are truly certified allergen free. - i.e you might get prepackaged foods that are certified 'nut free-wheat free-egg free-etc. free'. I can only be blunt, some of those prepackaged items are not that great. Look on the DISaibilities area of the DIS for threads on the specific brands WDW offers.
9. Yes. I think most or all CL's have kid areas...at least the ones I've seen. I remember seeing a kid area at AKL. AKL's lounge also has a restroom. (Not all of the CL's do, which is a pain.)
10. Probably. The last time we went we did walk up, as they did not have ressie's.
11. Generally speaking, food is only out from 7am until 10pm, and even then, most CM's are DONE putting away food at 10pm. At 6:30am, they will have coffee out...and they will be in process of putting other food out until about 7am. (sometimes a few items are later than 7am).
At about 10pm, the CL staff will make sure the soda cooler is restocked, but they won't refill it after that. So if someone takes all the diet Cokes, that's it. Daily, CL staff puts out a fruit basket: apples, oranges, bananas. That stays out 24 hours, but there may not be much come 2am.
You are however, always allowed to bring food to your room, and you have a small dorm type fridge in your room. It's more of a 'beverage cooler.' It's not all that cold, especially if you cram it full of bottled water
. So you may want to stow a few snacks for later.
Well....it's hard to say exactly what CL staff will do...the answer varies. In one sense, the main service they offer is ADR's. On the other, they oftne do more. One thing they are good at doing is helping guests obtain information. If you want to know the fastest way to get from AKL to the BWK via WDW ttransportation say, or where to find a taxi. They can check what time the MK closes, or what time a show starts. If you have any problems with a room key not working... Though even as a CL guest, you are also allowed to ask the front desk for help (esp if you need help after hours).
