We just returned from our first onsite stay and it was only two nights and way too short!!! So I am planning our week long stay for next February!!! We stayed Poly and loved it for convenience and the resort is beautiful! I have always wanted to stay CR but not sure my 3 DDs will like it....the other one I am tempted to try is Beach club...what are transporation options like there? we will be at MK for two if not three days, so I am still leaning towards monorail resort.

When will deals for February be released? I think we booked in October this year for room only but am hoping for free dining or s/p/d again as we want dining plan this time and need fix where this time we already had tickets

thanks

I would probably stick with the Poly if I am travelling with 3 daughters. If your girls are older (i.e. 8 and up) then they may love the pool at the BC but I find that with younger kids I worry about them at the BC because the pool is sooooo big that if they wander off I start to panic. The Poly and CR are nice and contained. The CR may just be a bit boring in terms of theming. If walking to the MK is a priority and your kids can overlook the theming then the CR is great. I just think that the Poly offers everything (theming, location and a nice pool)

I love the Poly and would probably pick it out of your choices. We have stayed at the CR twice and are not big fans. I can't comment on Beach Club as we've not stayed there ( although I will be staying in the villas in June on my girls trip)

All three resorts are wonderful! When DD was younger we stayed at either Poly or CR and loved them for different reasons but we probably prefer Poly over Cont just because of theming and you can just walk over to TTC to catch monorail for Epcot. I would suggest going to Cont to shop! Now that DD is older we tried the BC and loved it. It is brighter than the Poly, loved the slide, and loved the closeness to Epcot which is were we usually spend our evenings. Just my opinions but remember you can't go wrong with any of them, have a great time! :cool1:

I prefer the Poly over the CR because of the theming, pool where you can see the castle, and the ability to walk to the TTC to get to Epcot.

YC/BC is a great resort -- we stayed there several times when my DD was little -- she loved the pools there. Some people don't like the pool since it's big and you can't see the whole thing from one lounge chair -- that didn't bother us since we were in there with her having fun. There is also a large, shallow sandy play area -- great for little ones. BC would let you walk/boat to Epcot and DHS, but you have to take the bus to the MK. So it might depend on how many days you plan to be at Epcot + HS.

They are all great choices, really, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. :goodvibes

We've stayed at the BC and Poly and are trying the CR in December. The BC is beautiful and we loved the resort and had a great stay, but the Poly is our favorite. As others have said, you really can't go wrong with any of them. Good luck.

We've stayed at the Poly and the BC, and while I liked the BC, I love the Poly. Maybe it is that we go to WDW when it is not so warm at home, so I respond to the tropical theme at the Poly. The BC has a New England theme, and living outside of Boston, I'm up to my eyeballs in NE the rest of the year, so it is nice to experience something different on vacation.

The pool at the BC is amazing, and my kids loved it. However, they are older (14, 12 and 9) and are good swimmers, so I don't need to watch them the same way I did when they were younger (frantically knocking on wood as I type this.) I don't know how old your kids are, but I'm not so sure that I would love trying to keep my eyes on younger kids at this pool.

BC & Poly are my two favorite. I've never been a fan of CR theming.

If my kids were young, I'd choose Poly every time for the convenience to MK. Since they were old enough to start wondering on their own we started staying at BC. More adult oriented, convenient to 2 parks and bigger coasters, my teenage son loves walking around BW and Epcot.

BLT is our home resort so we love the CR, but we also love BC for its location and Epcot is my favorite park! Not really a fan of the Poly. Either way whatever you choose it will be a great vacation! Enjoy!

Thanks everyone! I was a little worried about stormalong bay being too big for our next trip when girls will only be 19 months, 5 and 6. Am thinking either Poly or CR now. The monorail was soooo comvenient and watching wishes from the beach was great! Hoping for a good discount again.

I have heard great things about POR but my DH thinks if we arent on the monorail we might as well stay at bonnet creek and drive ourselves. We have stayed there before and liked it but I loved being onsite.

Would it be a pain to stay someone not on the monorail? I LOVE the look of akl butaybe when girls are older.

It all depends on what you consider to be a pain. I really don't care for the monorail for transportation. It seems that anytime I have to ride it, they have long delays because they're either adding a train or removing one for service and we end up sitting for 15 or 20 minutes without moving. OTOH, those same monorail resorts also have boat launches to the MK and they run much more smoothly.

AKL is a very different atmosphere. So much more relaxing than the monorail resorts. A savannah view is almost a must unless you don't mind walking to a viewing area from your room in order to see the animals. And when it comes to transportation, you will either need a car or resign yourself to taking the bus everywhere.

When my kids were as young as yours, CR was a great choice for us because we could walk to the MK very easily and that's where we spent half of our time. No waiting for the monorail and with an MK view, we could watch the fireworks from the room on nights when they were too tired to stay out later.

With the ages of your kids, I think I'd stick with a monorail resort. AKL is a beautiful resort and we didn't think the buses were bad, but we also didn't have little ones when we stayed there. As far as deciding between the Poly and CR, you know I'm a BIG Poly fan, but either resort would be great, IMO. If you want to try something new, the CR would be a great choice. The rooms are comparable in size, all rooms at both resorts come with a daybed, and both are very convenient to MK (with the CR being within walking distance). The theme/decor of the CR doesn't really appeal to me, but we are trying it in December and who knows, we may love it. Good luck deciding, but I'm sure you'll have another great trip no matter which resort you choose.

Thanks. I am nervous to stay at the poly again as it is the only resort we have stayed at so wondering if we should try a different one. But as you know, I loved our first onsite stay!
From the CR pool can you see the castle? That was one of my girls favourite parts about the poly!
I might be in the minority here...but I wasn't a huge fan of ohana so wondering what TS restaurants are on monorail loop?
Thanks
