Thanks! That is good to know Dh went in while I sat with the kids and this was our first time eating there but thanks to the reviews it seemed just right for dinner.

Aw thanks. We're pretty fond of that kid and he's got a rather fun collection of fun tshirts. My favorite is the one that looks like a Power Ranger uniform and if you look back he's got one from How I Met Your Mother earlier in the week saying "It's going tobe Legen....dary" that encouraged one of the workers at Kringla Og Bakery to tell us that Neil Patrick Harris had been in over the holidays (my guess was when he was the guest narrator at Candlelight Processional) and that he was a wonderfully nice guy. It's great the things that connect us all. Hope you have a great evening.

Our First Update of the Day was sent to us by AuroraMeansDawn.


She said, "Morning Barb. I guess these are the last of my trip updates but we left a few things undone so there will be something left for the next time. First up is a little poolside cocktail. This is the Superfruit White Sangria from Mardi Grogs..."

"Citrusy and not to sweet. Very refreshing and a nice way to chill by the pool."




"Then a quick bus and ferry boat ride brought us to our dinner at..."

"We had a short wait and it was a gorgeous evening to wait on the deck. Love the talking pagers. We were seated at a fourtop just behind the host stand and it felt like we were on the fringe of things all evening, atmosphere and service wise. It was competent but hardly compared to other signature dining we have enjoyed at California Grill and Artist Point. It also could be it was day 6 and we were just worn down but I was expecting phenomenal and it was a bit lackluster."

"We began with the bread service and I had a glass of the house Chardonnay. It was from the Russian River Valley but I don't recall the label. It was nice and crisp and slightly oaky and had a little bit of a grapefruit finish. The bread was a rich sourdough and hard to resist and the Hawaiian sea salt is fantastic with it."

Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - Gingered "Sweet Potato Salad" with Creole Mustard Sauce and Candied Pecans

Crispy Rhode Island Calamari with Pepperoncini-Olive Relish and Tomato Coulis


"We also shared the crab cake and calamari appetizers and they were very nice. The crab cakes were meaty without too much filler and the sweet potato salad with them was an interesting and imaginative twist. The calamari was good. Not spectacular but good. The capers were a fun twist to the presentation and added a nice tang."

Butter-poached Maine Lobster Tail with Grilled Filet Mignon and served with
"Smoked" Boniato Whipped Potatoes and Yellow Wax and French Beans with Cabernet Wine Sauce

"Jesse and Dylan both opted for the lobster tail and NY strip cooked medium rare. I chose the lobster tail and filet mignon cooked medium. The lobster was delicious! Tender and not rubbery at all. The NY strips were a little tough though. They both said they were good but not amazing. My filet was tender and tasty but it was not one of those steaks that you dream about. It was good. The accompanying whipped potatoes were tasty and light according to Dylan and I enjoyed the green beans and wax beans."

Angel Cake with Plant City Strawberries, Strawberry Sauce, and Vanilla Chantilly Creme



"The boys split a press pot of coffee and the angel cake with strawberry compote. Two bites and I was done. It was a fresh light finish and the birthday wishes were appreciated very much."




"So with the dining plan we still paid OOP for the glass of wine, the appetizers, and the tip and it was just a shade over $100 and it took almost 30 minutes to settle the check. I have worked in service and I have worked for tips so I am very understanding but we had to tell her twice that we wanted to pay the balance in cash not on the room charge and it was a little frustrating. All told, we like to try one new signature per trip and Narcoossee's did not make the return list. It wasn't bad, just not a spectacular meal like I expected."

"But as a nice perk, we did catch the EWP as we left and that cute. In all our trips, I had never seen it."

"We started out with a few beers & the scallop forest, which was great."

Scallop Forrest - Georges Bank scallops in a golden batter served with citrus lime dipping sauce & sweet chili jam.

Lambo - Lamb shank braised in rosemary jus with mash, leeks, ****ake mushrooms & baby carrots.



"DS had a hamburger (that was huge), DD had shrimp, I had the shepherds pie & DH had the lambo. Everything was wonderful."

"The portions here were huge! They easily fed all 6 of us. The guacamole was pretty hot, either from white onion or the cilantro. Pretty good but definitely could have used less onion or cilantro. I love Mexican food."

Dawn said, "Good evening Barb. Back home and the washing machine is full and dryer is tumbling. Have just a few items left and our live review will be done. We had such a wonderful time and it was wonderful spending Spring break with my man child in a place that is full of magical memories before we send him off to college. It really is a place where everyone can be a child again, if only for a little while. Is there any moment in life sweeter than standing on Main Street USA with your arms around people you love and looking up at this?"

"We closed the Magic Kingdom down last night and got back to our resort around half past 1:00 a.m. and still had to pack and be ready for a Magical Express pick up at 9:10 a.m. We grabbed breakfast at..."




Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory

"The boys had a cheese omelet with a side of bacon and I had a Bounty Platter, just so I could have the mini Mickey waffle. I stuck to my two bite rule and had his ears. Hehe. The scrambled eggs were creamy and delicious. The bacon was limp and I found I don't care for Disney sausage but the potatoes were crispy and fluffy inside and super delish. It was too much food but I knew I wouldn't be back for a while and I was glad the last morsel I ate in WDW was in the shape of one of Mickey's ears. That seemed right."




"And we used the final two snack credits on our plans on these little darlings to take home for friends."

"It has been an honor and a privilege sharing our special experiences with you. "We had dinner last night at Flying Fish. I started out with the chardonnay wine flight. They were all good but the Ramey was my favorite."

"We then shared the crab cake (which was ok) & the shrimp & calamari (which was yummy)."

"For entrees I had the duo of char crusted steak & potato wrapped snapper (both were wonderful & I could have eaten a whole plate of the potatoes that were with the steak)."

"DH had the scallops, DD had the kids fish sticks & DS had plain pasta with butter (he also had the fruit skewers to start)."

"Everyone loved their meal except DS who just ended up eating his sister's french fries. We skipped dessert but both kids had the Mickey puzzle which they had fun coloring & the cupcake was very good that came with it."
