WBPC May 6th 2013 Wonder

Just to stir the conversation a little and get everyone excited...

For people who have taken a Dis cruise before -

Name one of your favorite things to do onboard.

I'll start!

One of my favorite things to do onboard dcl is to skip the dining room dinner, go to the pool instead, grab a pizza/burger/chicken finger/etc. and watch a movie on Arielvision. I have a great memory of doing this on our last cruise and we saw Mary Poppins that night - it was a wonderful time! :cloud9:

I started our FE today! (with the help of some wine to keep me going :thumbsup2 )

Still have a little more to do to it but I should be finished soon.

Looking good! :thumbsup2 I love how you incorporated the ship as your FE.

Great idea, I'm in!

Okay, one of my very favourite things to do on board is to snag one of those comfy lounge chairs outside the Cove Cafe (if I can), put up my feet, ask DH to get me a glass of wine or a Chai Latte, and stare dreamily at the ocean. There is nothing better. :goodvibes

Aleksandra, I hate to ask anyone to do something I could so myself...that said, could I use one of your designs, and just print it with my information? If so, what size is appropriate for the lanyards? Thanks Cindi

You can do them yourself....designs are there to use :) I measured both pouches, vertical and horizontal, an they are both same size. I printed tags 95x69 mm and fit just fine. All the images should be the size, but please check them and resize if needed.

Thank you both. I am just not sure I can face up to 5 hours of a tour though plus the early start. When is cancellation time with no loss of money for the tours these days? I think it used to be a few days before the cruise.

3 day before cruise I think. Open your reservation and it will tell you how many days you have to book adventures, that means you can cancel them too. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

One of my favorite things to do on the Wonder - Just before dinner go to the Promenade Lounge and watch my grandson and the other children dance to the music while I have a before dinner drink.

Sit and read on Deck 4. I pretend I'm on the Titanic (while reading from a Nook!) and the people around me play shuffleboard and walk laps and just relax.

Deck 4 time is my favorite too. I especially like later in the afternoon when most of the walkers and shuffle boarders are finished and it's nice and quiet. I start out reading a great book and eventually, my husband wakes me up...;)

BTDT.

I really don't understand the draw of the pool deck with all the noise and people, but I wouldn't even need a cabin if I could just rope off a little of Deck 4 for myself (I would need a few extra pillows, a blanket, perhaps a little fridge).

One of our family favorite things to do is a 3 pm taco every day. I love the tacos at Pluto's dog hut. That's one of the things I miss most because they don't have them on the Dream or Fantasy.

One of my favourite things we did on our last cruise, was between the show and dinner, to sit in Diversions and play checkers with a pre dinner drink and possibly grab a few of the snacks they have laid out. I won every game... my fiance is apparently very bad at checkers.

Just called our travel agency inquiring about potentially upgrading our stateroom, but he informed me that the ship is nearly sold out, save for a few interior staterooms.

Not complaining at all, but wanted to pass on to the group here. Looks like a busy ship. :)

Up until last week, there were plenty of Inside rooms, the full group of 9A-D and 6 of the suites. Just this week, only the Insides (10, 11) are showing.

Do you really think all 6 of the concierge suite sold in one week? At $14,600+ each? I'd believe one or two, but not all six.

Nancy. Normally I would agree but I just checked the website and all that is available is 11C, 11B, 10B, 10A.

Thanks for that. I now remember it was 3 days before.

On the Titanic???!!!:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:;)

My husband's favourite thing to do onboard is over on the first day:rotfl2:. He loves the first lunch, preferably sitting outside in the sun. Perfect!!

Me, just walking around and saying hi to friends old and new:thumbsup2.

For the first two weeks of Feb., all that showed up were a few inside rooms and the suites (sometimes 1 suite, sometimes 6). Then one day it said entirely sold out. Then a few days later, there were 4A, 4B, all the 9's, and the insides, plus the suites.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more verandahs or suites come back up on the web.

I know I shouldn't care since I have my cabin, but I'm just curious.
