Hi everyone, I was planning a romantic getaway at Disney, and was wondering which resorts you think have the nicest jacuzzis/hot tubs/pools. Thanks!

The hot tub at Coronado Springs seats 22 and is the largest on property. Very nice!

And it's usually full of kids using it as a pool.

My fave hot tub is at AKL. They have one that is near trees, has a nice view.

Because it is somewhat secluded it is not often filled with little kids out of sight of their parents.

DVC one-, two- and three bedroom villas have them in the master bathroom. OKW has the largest one.

vwl/wl - 3 tubs (one is cold WL)

OKW - 4 hot tubs (one at each pool)

SSR - again one at each pool

AKL - 2 hot tubs
akv - 1 hot tub

bwv - one at each pool - so 3
bcv - one at each pool - so 4 (bc & yc)

get pick the one who you think is the more romantic resort. - I like OKW and SSR - you might find one w/ no one in it....

not sure how many the GF has?

the moderates only have one - it is at the main pool
the vaues don't have one

I honeymooned at AKL and enjoyed the secluded hot tubs, especially at night after a long day at the parks. The cm's told us the hot tubs are open 24 hours so it was peaceful and relaxing with no children in the evenings.

We love the hot tubs at WL. At night the resort is beautifully lit. We have also watched many weddings on the terrace from the comfort of the tub.

This :thumbsup2

Akl - Jambo House has by far the most secluded romantic hot tub.

There are 2 at AKL -- both kind of secluded (but one more than the other -- so it has fewer people in it). They are #1 in my book.

There are also a couple in SAB at the YC/BC -- they are surrounded by "rocks" and up higher than the pool -- surprisingly enough some people can't seem to find them -- they weren't crowded when we were there. #2 for me.

Another vote for Animal Kingdom Lodge! They are secluded and surrounded by lovely greenery. They are quiet and soooo perfect after a long day at the parks!

the hot tub at POFQ is set a bit away from the main pool. so all those pesky kids don't even notice it!!! however, the hot tub at PORIverside is RIGHT beside the pool, so you have a bunch of little kids splashing around , with parents no where near to be found.

(I DO wish there were adult only hot tubs)

that being said, there is one hot tub at CBR, near the pool entrance. but!..... there is another hot tubbehind the stairs to the pool slide. and it had loungers near itl

if you are lucky, the kids will stay away from it!

And part of the reason why I won't pay the upgrade from value to moderate! One of the few ammenities I would use at that level resort is the hot tub... IF they didn't allow kids in them! In general, if I want a TS restaurant, I'm going to want to eat at specific ones and not the same one over and over, so I see not benefit whatsoever to having a TS restaurant at the resort. I don't swim in the pool, so a slide is a moot point. I always have a king bed, so queen vs double is a moot point as well. And I happen to like the offerings at POP's food court. Sometimes I get a little variation of the food court's offerings with some help of a 'friend'! ;)
But That is one thing I  about DCL!! They have family hot tubs and adult only hot tubs!! No kiddies splashing in the adult hot tubs! I will use the tubs on DCL. Still don't use the pools though... :goodvibes

for romance, i would definitely not want one where 20 other people might get in with us. :rotfl:

akl's is so secluded, we absolutely loved it. we went in it every single day of our trip, as i recall. we were usually the only ones in it, but to be fair, we went during value season. there was one right near our room and then right near that was an animal overlook. they also have a second hot tub right there but since this one was closer we never checked out the other one.

a pp asked how many hot tubs the gf has- it has one. i love the gf, but their hot tub is always obnoxious- large and full of kids, and right in the middle of things.

AKL vote here!

We love the 2 at Kidani...especially the one at the top near the fitness center.

Staying at Jambo in May/June...looking forward to the hot tub being secluded there.
