Hi everybody! 59 days till our trip!!! As an over planner I wanted to know what type of creamer is in the food court. Is it half & half or some other product? Thanks!

Maybe we will see you, we will be there 5/1-5/9/13. :)

Party in the check-in line!! Yup, checking in on the 1st! Currently booked for May1st-7th but the original plan was to be there until the 10th and it may well get changed back to that, or somewhere in the middle. I'm going to call and bump it up to 1st-10th again so I can drop the extra days later if I decide to, rather than risk getting closer to May and not being able to add on more days.

Can't wait for that tie-dye cheesecake :cool1:

(and crossing my fingers for no cheer groups :surfweb: )

Party it is! We'll be there May 4-9th :)

Just a question!
How does Pop deal with early Garden Grocer orders (water, milk, snacks, juice boxes, yogurt) we will not get into MCO until 8pm and not at the resort till after 9. When we stayed at AOA they refrigerated all our perishables then bell service brought it up after we checked in. Is that how it will be handled at Pop??

Yes same at pop. You may have to go get it unless you call for it. When we stayed at SSR sometimes it was already in our room. I think it all depends.

Can three adults be in the same room?

My mom and dad really want to go with us when we go in May. But, my sister can't function on her own really, since she has brain cancer. So if they go, they would take her with them.

I doubt they will, but I thought I'd find out if it's even possible.

Know another poster answered the adults question... just wanted to add my best wishes to your sis in her cancer battle...hope it works out that she can join you all for what is sure to be a wonderful memorable vacation for your entire family! :goodvibes

Can't wait to be back at POP!!! 32 days:woohoo::yay::goodvibes

51 days til Pop for the first time yayyyy!

:woohoo: Have a wonderful trip! :cool1:

does the pop have any connecting rooms???

Absolutely... all bldgs / floors offer connecting rooms... refer to this map for more info...also located in post #2 of this thread. :goodvibes

Which rooms are closest to the coffee (or the food court, hehe)? We booked preferred and I think we would love either the 60s or 70s themes. ANy suggestions?

Refer to the resort map....preferred rooms are highlight in yellow and are offered in the 50s, 60s and 70s...all in fairly close... end rooms (the ICON stairwells) in bldgs 5, 6, 10 will be the closest walk to Classic Hall...IMO have stayed in the 60s (standard rooms) and have been happy with all those locations. :goodvibes

FYI.. This map , denotes the numbering system for each bldg... so you use it as a reference when you get your room assignment at at check in. :)

That is a good idea to book the extra days now. Much easier that way. :)

We are going back to POP May 18-24!!!! So excited!!!! I can't recall now if cast members will take photos with your camera? We got the photo pass last year but can't really afford it this year. Also we are adding in universal so what's the best and cheapest way to there from POP?? Thanks!!!

Just decided recently that we're going to stay at Pop next April! This thread is so helpful! :goodvibes

:woohoo: Stick around ... this thread is home to many knowledgeable POPers! ::yes::

Yep! much easier to subtract then add (especially if the days fall under any discount/promotions)... and hopefully once you add, you won't have to substract!! :thumbsup2

Tie-dye cheesecake ...yumm. :hippie: My DD loves the chocolate cake, the chocolate crossiants are one of my favs ::yes::... and don't leave out the King. :worship:

:wave2: Nahla1204!! Absolutely...Cast members will always take pictures with your camera. :goodvibes

We did Universal in '10 and rented a car... but we did so in part as our plans were 3 days at Universal, 3 days Disney...we wanted the flexibility to come/go...Mears Transporation will take you by bus and it is approx. $19 pp (12 and up), per trip. There is a child's rate for 4-11, 3 & younger are free). For us, it made more sense to rent the car for the entire week...FYI.. Disney also offers the ability to rent a car on property thru the WDW Car Care Center. (link to the Mousesaver website for info).

Just saw on our reservation that we're going to be in the Wide World of Sports Area. I'm guessing that is where it says Sports on the map by the 90s pool.

Anyone stayed in that area before? It looks like it is good for parking/access to car (which we will have) but what about the bus? Anything we should know about this area? Or special requests we should make?

Nope, what they mean is to tell you what PARK your resort is closest to. Ex. CSR says Animal Kingdom area, Poly says Magic Kingdom area, and the AllStars says near The Wide World of Sports Complex.

No bearing on what area your room will be. You can look at a disney property map to see how close your resort is to WWOS complex but not really necessary.

I just read the article on CNN about the boy who drowned at Pop and it referred to the whole resort as being in Wide World of Sports Area. Sorry...I got excited and thought it meant something :upsidedow

If you do end up over there (we were just in 80s) you won't exactly be conveniently located near the main building. Nothing wrong with it but more of a hike if you bus it. I requested 80s due to proximity to the parking lot and it worked well-enough for us.

Can you make a request to stay in one of the classic years buildings without a preferred rooms reservation? And, are these requests usually granted? Thanks so much!

All of the buildings at POP Century are classic year buildings, so I'm not sure what you are asking there, but you don't need to book preferred to make a request, anyone can no matter what category they book. Each building has at least some standard rooms. They are just requests so there are no guarantees you will get your request, but they will try. And if when you arrive the room you are assigned does not meet your request you can ask if there is a room available that does. :thumbsup2

Thanks for your reply. For some reason, I thought the 50's, 60's and 70's buildings were considered the classic years buildings.
