Does anyone know what the room refurb at the Poly entails (duvets?)? Does anyone have pictures of the redone Hawaii rooms?

Thanks His most recent pictures look to be from December. I believe Hawaii was renovated in Jan/Feb. If anyone has new pictures to share, I'd be grateful!

Is staying at the poly club level worth the money?

To answer honestly - I have no idea. I've never stayed club level before. However, I have 2 nights booked with military discount @ 40% off to try it out. We won't be going to parks at all the days we're at the Poly and we may never splurge on club level again. I'll give you my opinion on worth when I return.

There has only been talk of one Extra Longhouse.

Tikiman and other knowledgable people have said the Poly DVC is YEARS away. They won't even announce it until GFV are nearing the sold-out stage.

It may be years away. But the buildings location approximately is true. I am just going with what here say you hear from CMs at poly.

What's the latest word on the Grand Ceremonial House? Has the resort announced when it will undergo refurbishment and what will be impacted?

DVC phase one will not be built where Aotearoa is but the property next to it where the Spirit of Aloha Show is located.

They talk about planning for the end of summer this year but no definite dates. There are rumors that they might change their mind about doing it because of the outstanding lawsuits from other hot tubs at Disney resorts and possibly creating a kids area like the new one at the GF with a different theme.

Oh that would be amazing! That new GF play area is awesome. Thanks for the info! I'm heading there in late October. My stay last November (2012) was a lovely view from Samoa, 3rd floor, of.....construction fencing, workers, and big ditches.

Hope they decide to go thru with it! It is the one thing keeping us away from the Poly again! I know it's silly but we just missed having a hot tub too much and having to go to another hotel was a pain.
