What rules would you like Disney to change?

While we are banning people may as well include religion, skin color, political beliefs, and socioeconomic status.

I agree with the non smoking, adult area being for 18+ ONLY :thumbsup2

I would only add sibling can visit each other in the Clubs (lower level, i.e. the 7 year old cannot go to the tween go teen club, but have to older sib can visit them). Just saying that because i was told my 13y old cannot visit my 11y old in the Lab :( and he really wants to go to.

So you want kids to stay out of the 18+ areas, but you're fine with the kids then violating each other's age-based spaced restrictions? I'm sure there are lots of kids who "really want to go" to Palo or the spa but they're simply not allowed to, and you seem to be fine with that. I guess the kids are not as entitled to protected spaces as adults? How is that fair?

If your 13 yr old wants to be in the Lab with the 11 yr old, they can do it during Open House, and be glad they get to do it at all. I'm quite happy that my kids will be over in Secured Programming not being overrun by teenagers.

Secondhand smoke is a health hazard. An overweight person in a bathing suit is not. Add me to the "banning smoking on verandahs" list.

I think smoking should be banned on the ship...if not, just have a private room with all doors and windows shut so the smoke can't come out onto the open areas on the ship...just my opinion...and it's my health.

I would like a variation on the smoking on verandah topic.

I have asthma and smoke is one of the triggers for an attack for me.

I would like a section designated where I knew it was safe to book a verandah cabin. Seems like a shame to pay the extra money for a verandah when smokers above, below or next door could turn a wonderful verandah into an expensive visit to the ships doctor. Especially when just avoiding the smoke keeps me from the asthma attack.

Also, please make the smoking areas on the ship so that there is a way to get from point A lift to point B on the deck without having to walk through the smoke. Also please mark that path as "Smokefree route"
I just want to be able to avoid it, but do want to be able to share the ship nicely.

I'd like for them to get rid of this waiting until 75 days out (or whatever) to book excursions. All the other cruiselines I've been on allow you to book your excursions pretty much any time after you book the cruise. This waiting around stuff and having everyone in a particular class trying to book all at once at midnight is nonsense.

Sayhello

I second this one!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

And I'm waiting for the brawl to start on this thread. popcorn::popcorn::

Me too!! Check out the thread complaining about 2 older women wearing thongs.

I just came from that one. :sad2::sad2:

I was going to try to not say anything much at all on here, but as long as people seem to be saying what they'd like to see changed....not really what the OP was asking....I'd like to see JUDGEMENTAL PEOPLE banned from DCL. Walt would be ashamed.

I'm overweight and I have an issue with overweight people and bathing suits. There are wonderful bathing suits that fit all sizes so why do I have to see people's fat oozing out of bathing suits?

I saw this first hand last week in the Wonder.

I am also for no smoking on the ship. It's a health and safety hazard.

Not to start a debate, but I would like to see the "no smoking in staterooms" rule become "no smoking in staterooms or verandahs".

I don't have a problem with shorts at dinner -- once you sit down, who will know?

:thumbsup2 Amen to both of these!!

Good quality plus-size bathing suits can be pretty expensive. Not arguing....just saying I've found this to be true. I wear tankini's because I'm much larger on top than I am on the bottom, so I can't wear a one-piece, and just the cost of the plus tops is outrageous. So if someone has to buy a less expensive suit because the others are cost-prohibitive, then it may tend to not fit as well.

Yup.

Smartest thing I've seen said. Walt woul be ashamed. As an alumni cast member it saddens me seeing people being so judgmental about others!

When I go on vacation, I worry about myself and my family...it is all about our time together. I don't concern myself with what people wear to the dining rooms...if it's formal night and you want to wear jeans and a t-shirt, whatever. If a person has the kind of confidence to wear a thong or speedo to the pool...hey, good for you! The one thing I would like to see DCL change would be the smoking policy...I agree with others that have chimed in regarding smoking on the verandas. It just makes so little sense that smoking is allowed on verandas, which is essentially the stateroom area.

And to the poster that doesn't want to see tattoos...I just checked "get a tattoo" off my bucket list while in Vegas with some of my best girl friends. It is a Mickey tattoo...is that acceptable??? :)

Ugh, isn't this the truth. Try adding a need for maternity on top of that. I need a plus size maternity bathing suit top for my April cruise -- can't find anything for less than $75!! That's just for the top! I'd go with a regular tankini top but am afraid that if there isn't enough length I'm gonna show off my belly and not in a cute way.

Maybe I should just say "forget it!" and just buy a regular bikini. Then I can be one of these "YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!!:sick:" stories. :rotfl2:

Can I just say "thank you!"...for wanting to wear a REAL maternity swimsuit, rather than letting it all hang out, like all the actresses do now?
:worship::worship::worship:

Ban smoking on the cruise ship. If I don't like how someone looks I can just look the other way. With smoking the brain killing chemicals will surge into your lungs whether you like it or not.
