Wow... I'm sorry I haven't been following along more closely, but how many children were you planning to adopt? Seems like God is trying to stretch you here Praying for you and your family, David!

Prayers for the rest of the dads (and mom) on this thread today. I don't respond often here, but pray daily for my extended family!

We went in wanting a sibling group, but would not turn down 1. The siblings we are considering are actually from a sibling group of 10! These are the youngest four (8,7,5, and 3) and they want to try to keep them together at all costs.

May God bless you and your family as you try to determine if this is the way for you. I certainly think that adoption takes a certain character and ability for love and compassion. The fact that this could even be an option for you tells me that you have what it takes.

Need some prayers guys. Our case worker sent us the file of a sibling group to consider. They are not in the country we have been considering, but another Eastern European country. Oh, the sibling group is of 4 kids. We need to decide if we are interested by early next week.

That is a lot to ask and there is no way we could even attempt offer counsel on so great a decision. Prayers are offered sir. Prayers that the ultimate answer is the one that is best for all involved.

Randall, any updates?

Thank you for asking David. The blood work they did on Arron when they admitted him yesterday showed his CPK levels were high. The midnight read showed its was down 200 points and the one from 6 this am was even lower. See you're pryers are working. His CPK is still higher than normal and the local hospital is working with Sinai Hospital here in Baltimore.

Arron is up and walking today, still hurts, but better than his not be able to walk at all yesterday.

Just heard from his Mom and he has a viral infection. His CPK count started at 2900 and is now down to 2000. Normal is 75 - 200. They are keeping him again tonight and they are treating the infection hoping that will continue dropping his CPK.

Thanks again for your continued thoughts and prayers.

His CPK count is down. They had him on a IV drip to flush out his kidneys, and that seems to do the trick. Thank you for the prayers and warm thoughts.
