Has there ever been a meal at Blue Bayou? I've only eaten there once back in the 70's. All I know is on my next trip I'm getting the Monte Crisco again. I loved it. The first time I had one it was a gummy mess but this time it was light and crisp. As for the tees, I think Mel would like to have us wear a few of the previous years shirts along with the new design. We'll get more than one or two uses out of a shirt and it makes it easy to spot each other.

What color was the shirt from 2010 the Pirate themed one? I remember putting the decal on a a jacket but I don't remember what the color was.

Oo yaa. Wish I could find the design again and reprint it on a new shirt. My jacket that had it in it got ripped and I threw it out.

I'd eat there! I wish they had Pomme Frites at BB though, man those things are good.

I think we should re-use our shirts, it definitely made it easy to find everyone. If people don't have the official shirt maybe they can just wear that color? I have 2 shirts now, the pink and this years blue (I bought an extra pink one). The brighter bolder colors were definitely easier to spot in crowds. I think if I can make it next year, I'm going to be there the full 5 days, it was so hectic to be there only part of the time.

I like the idea of wearing past years shirts. Unfortunately not everyone has them.

You could always wear the coordinating color of the past years shirts . Purple was one of our past tee colors.

A new thread already! WOW!

Yes I am alive and well. Didn't get home until Monday night.

Last night, had a wonderful surprise.
Went to dinner at Becky's my oldest DD, and who opened the door to let us in? My baby Kaitlyn!!! She wasn't supposed to be home until the 21st. I was in shock, but oh soooooo happy to have her home again. Nick and Becky opened drove to LAX yesterday to pick her up.

Anyways I am so thankful to have Katilyn home again. LOL.... at the moment, she is watching "Breaking Dawn Part II" with her best friend. She is happy to have a TV!

Last but not least. I had an absolutely wonderful time with all of you.
Next year is tooooo far away.
Not sure about the rest of you, but was fairly happy with the crowds. Way better than last year, even with Carsland in the picture.
How did everyone else feel?

Yes figure I better post to make sure I can find it easily. As for shirt colours I do not care. Yes some colours I really do not like but that is not the point to. I get the shirt because it makes me feel more part of the group. Easy to find other diva's and looks great in photo's. So I will always buy a shirt no matter if I like the design or colour. Though with Mel's talent and love they all look great.

Oh and I thought I had given away the first years diva shirt. Nope it was way back at a back of a drawer. I never wore it after the trip but still have it

So you will get no complaints from on whatever Mel decides

I cannot say how excited I am that you are planning the trip for 2014! I haven't been since 2009 and I was soooo very close to coming on this last trip...I already got the green light from hubby. He's gonna take the time off and stay home with the kids. Yay!!!! Lets just pray I don't get pregnant again! Lol!

I can't wait to see my old diva friends and make new some new ones .

Yup, we had that discussion at Mimi's on Sunday. I liked her plan.




Serra isn't as big on the whole commando style. She prefers to sleep late and take it easy and not go into the parks every day. I'm not sure she and Alison would be compatible. But she could surprise me, she does that often.

hahaha...Alison & I are NOT commando style people...we usually sleep in, have a late breakfast, arrive at the park between 10:30-11:30 & then spend the rest of the day there! They would get along GREAT!

Oh and I should introduce myself...

My name is January I have an awesome family ...my husband is Nate who is amazing! He works full time in juvenile corrections and goes to school full time working on his masters degree. I have a sweet little 8 year old, Maddie, who is so funny and always happy..she has my heart. And my baby boy, Payson.. He just turned three months old and is just starting to sit up and make little baby laughs. We live in a tiny town in Idaho called Rexburg. Its close to Yellowstone. There isnt a whole lot to do here and its way cold. We can't wait to leave but my husband needs to finish school first.

I stay at home and love it! I also sell Paparazzi Accessories. It's a new direct sales company out of Utah. Everything is $5. This will be funding my diva trip I am so grateful for it or else I don't know how I could afford it! Flights out of here are $$$$!


I can't wait to get to know all of you and get reacquainted with the divas I already know.

A red shirt would be easy to spot as well...when I was watching for shirt colors for my daughters school, red really stands out.

I REALLY liked it when everyone had their shirts on, especially as a newbie. It was nice to be able to spot a Diva! I LOVED this years shirt!!!

I want to have our "fancy" meal at SH55. I have had dinner there three times and it nevers dissapoints.

Catching up here.

So we are already onto shirt colors. LOL!! Love it!

Here is the idea, that someone shared with me, and I really liked it.
It would go like this.

Day 1- Lime green
Day 2- Last year's shirt
Day 3- Brand new tee
Day 4- Shirt from 2 years ago
Day 5- Either from 3 years ago or favorite Disney shirt.

So next year would go like this:

Day 1- Lime green
Day 2- Turquoise Carsland tee
Day 3- Brand new tee
Day 4- Pink DisDivaland tee
Day 5- Purple Castle tee or favorite shirt.

Every year the Day 5 shirt will get rotated out.

No fuss, no muss!

So those of us who have been on the trips so far, should have all of these tees or at least have bought the colors to match. We would only have to buy the brand new tee for Day 3. Less cost.
Newbies would need to buy everything or try to, but it would be that way no matter what.


Most of you have requested something bright, or easy to spot.
Depending on the image of the tee shirt designed, I will pick out something that should look good on almost everyone. I will not pick out orange or yellow. Those colors are really hard for most people to wear.

Once again, if you abhor what I choose, then it can be changed.

So that is the talk, we had over Mimi's and a few other places.

I believe it was year 2 because I went to that lunch and that was my only diva trip time has flown by! Crazy!
