I'm sure the closings at 4 or 5....( 9:00 or later light should be PLENTY of time..

Well whatever you figure it out, IF he wants to go he has to compromise & maybe shower n stuff b4 the closing, then leave....I'm done worrying about it...

If you guys want to go there are plenty of ways to make this work....If you don't end up going it's because it wasn't in the cards....

Do I hate traveling at night & losing the whole day..Yeah but we sacrifice n do it.
Do I hate my last 5 trips ..2 driving...Which stinks & 3 out of JFK...Yeah but we do it to save a lil.
Did I hate having to do a 1 stop flight on my return...Yes but We had to in order to make things work.

Moral of the story is...If he really wanted to go Then theres a ton of opportunities...

Well what if I said I found a flight direct from EWR to MCO 4/6-4/11 for $275 pp round trip? That in the budget? United Ua696 down and UA264 back.

Just a thought on airfare, for those living in Jersey and are looking for airfare, I saw mentioned that Philly was out b/c you would have to pay to stay over somewhere near the airport, but have you looked into flights out of Atlantic City NJ? Spirit usually has super cheap flight and parking there cost pennies compared to major airports.

Just something that I thought of while skimming thru the last few pages of posts.

....me....if all goes well (fingers crossed here) he will be entering the Academy for NJ State Troopers in April....

LOL! YEah I can't say I blame you for not wanting to make a road trip longer then a flight to MCO.

We had an issue finding reasonable airfare coming home from Disney back to Philly last may, so we flew into AC. Wasn't bad, but what killed me was after landing having to sit in a car back to Philly for an hour and a half! I'm a bit spoiled we only live about a 5 minute car ride from Philly International. We usually can get really good deals with Air Tran to Orlando. I'm glad I booked our airfare when I did for June, b/c ticket prices went up well over $30 each way!

Yes, please add my name to the list. We have been to Disney many times and stayed at other resorts. This will be our 1st time at AKL so I just started reading all the posts in this thread. AKL sounds awesome!

Here's a tip. The staircase at the end of Kudu trail provides for some very close views of the fauna.
